My Perfect Amethyst

18th Birthday

The girls are out shopping, so I'm one man down. Marli was in charge of the lights and a few other things, here and there.

Thankfully, the other girls jumped in to take her place.

Jade is hanging the lights and Cayla is taking care of the placement for the other decorations.

Everything is looking great so far.

It's been 2 days since I've seen Amethyst and it's killing me.

Her party is tomorrow night, but every minute I'm away from her, feels like an eternity.

I'm trying to keep myself busy here with the planning, but it's definitely not enough to keep my mind off of her.

I should really talk to Mr. Whiley about Amethyst. He and his family were close to hers. Maybe he can give me an idea of who her and her family are and why they moved away all those years ago. Just to send her back here before her 18th birthday.

It just seems kind of odd.

I think I'll see if I can catch up to him tonight, when he closes up the pharmacy.

But until then, I really need to focus on the task at hand.

Hours have passed and finally, We're done! The balloons are up where they need to be and all the lights are hung in precise parallel strands. The entire ceiling is completely covered in dangling crystal lights. Honestly, we've managed to make it look more like a Ball Room, rather than something for a birthday.

I don't know how and I'm not sure if this is her style, but I pray she loves it.

I do know one thing though, it definitely suits her beauty and her grace.
