The closer she got to us, the faster my heart raced.
When she made it to our table, my heart plummeted into my stomach.
I didn't know what to do or in which direction to look.
I literally didn't know anything!
At first, when Drew said that she was walking our way.
All I wanted to do was jump up, grab her in my arms and tell her she was mine forever!
But there was No Way I was doing that!
I wasn't taking any chances on scaring her away, maybe even out of my life forever!
I could hear the town gossip now!
Some insane customer at the diner, went Bat Crap Crazy on the new girl in town.
He is unarmed but considered highly psychotic!
No Thank You!
I will sit here and try to act normal.
Maybe give her a little smile or a nod to gesture my appreciation.
For the check or for the meal.
Whichever one I'm supposed to appreciate right now.
See!
I can't even think straight!
Before I knew it, she was standing directly in front of me and the guys.
She spoke softly as she laid our ticket on the table.
Here's your check, I hope you've enjoyed your meals.
Drew and Mitchell, both immediately thanked her. She smiled as walked away.
Her smile was hypnotizing.
It pulled me into a trance that I couldn't escape!
Not that I would ever want to.
I tried to say Hi, my mouth moved but the words wouldn't come out.
Looking at her just made me go crazy inside!
I couldn't function or think.
I mean, watching her was like watching a goddess, glide across the floor as she made her way to our table.
When she spoke, Oh My Gosh!
That Voice!
It drove me Wild!
It was so soft and Angelic.
So perfectly innocent!
This girl, will definitely be the death of me.
