Wild Rose (The Dog's POV)

365 Words
I was wondering through the forest when a beautiful scent hit my nose. I had to know where it was coming from. It smelled like sweet lemonade. It was alluring. It made sense, that I was attracted to this fragrance. After all, Lemon is my favorite, when it comes to, well, almost everything. I let my nose lead the way. I've traveled several miles already and with each step the fragrance gets stronger and sweeter. Finally, I reached the edge of the forest and I seen this cute little cottage sitting by a small Lake. I couldn't help but howl with excitement as my senses went crazy! Could it be? Could my mate be inside this cottage? Just then, I noticed movement by the window and that's when I seen her. She had Long black flowing hair, beautiful rosy cheeks and deep Green eyes. She was absolutely beautiful. Everything inside me screamed Mate! I tried to hide behind a tree so she wouldn't spot me but it was too late. I seen her looking in my direction. I froze, not knowing what to do, so I just stood there staring back at her. All of the sudden, she slammed the curtains together and disappeared from the window. I had to get another look at her! At that moment, I remembered that I had ran by a few wild rose bushes on my way here. I'll make my first gesture with a beautiful wild rose. I ran back into the forest, picked the most beautiful rose I could find. I then, slowly creeped around to the front of her house and tried to look through her window from the living room. I seen she was relaxed and watching a movie. I laid the rose on her window ledge. I was so mesmerized by her beauty, I wasn't paying attention to my grip. I slipped and hit in my head, making a terrible thud sound. I stood back up, hoping it wasn't that loud and noticed that she had heard me. Cr*p! So I crouched down between the bushes, hoping that she wouldn't see me if she looked out. . THANK YOU Please Follow My Profile Page
