Marli, Henry, Mitchell, Gage & the rest of their friends have been planning the party for my 18th birthday and I'm feeling so guilty. I hate having all this attention.
My whole entire life, I have been in a quiet little bubble and doing things for myself.
It just doesn't feel right, having people do things for me. I don't know if I will survive this discomfort.
I know 18 is a big deal for most people but it's just another day to me. Not to mention, my parents aren't here. They're off doing who knows what, who knows where and they probably don't even realize that my birthday is coming up. They brought me here, almost a year ago and I haven't seen them since. Just a phone call here and there, but it's not the same.
Oh well, it is what it is!
But I have definitely, got to get my mind focused on something else.
I Know! I'll call Marli!
Maybe they'll at least let me help.
I mean, I'm literally sitting at home with nothing else to do.
Maybe she can give me, a To Do list.
Marli, Hey!
I'm sitting at home with nothing to do and I'm going stir crazy!
Is there anything I can help with?
Amy, Hey girl!
No ma'am, we have everything under control and besides, Henry doesn't want you to see anything, until you show up for the party.
Come On! I can't sit here all day.
Besides, it's your fault I'm so bored! You're the one who pulled me out of my cocoon, saying it wasn't healthy! And now, you're wanting to shove me back into it?
Please! Let me do something!
Okay Okay!
I'll be there in 2 hours, be ready!
Sounds Great! I will be, Thank you!
Squealing with relief, I ran to my room to get changed.
Thank goodness for Marli.
I am so ready to get out of this house.
She finally gets here, after the 2 hour mark.
I've been pacing this floor like crazy!
I was ready within 10 minutes, after she and I hung up earlier.
I didn't even give her time to get out of her car before I was already opening the passenger door.
You weren't playing were you Amy? While trying to hold back her laughter.
Thank You
