Marli seems to be having a great time tonight. She was pulling me from one group of people to another.
She introduced me to few of her friends, Cayla, Jade, Saige, Rey, Nicole, LeAnn, Kay, Rena and Page.
They were all really nice and upbeat, like Marli.
Everyone had at least a million questions for me to answer.
I felt like I was rehearsing some high school play, as many times as I had to repeat my answers.
It's okay I guess. I mean, I'm new and it's probably only natural to want to get to know, the new kid in town.
I get it, but I'm so exhausted!
Marli doesn't look anywhere near, being ready to leave.
I should have stayed home, I could be snuggled up in my bed right now!
Oh well, I'm here and I can't change that fact. I'll just have to push through a little longer.
There are so many people here. Everyone seems to know everyone.
I feel so out of place!
I don't know anyone, besides Marli. I wouldn't even know her, if we weren't working together.
Yeah, she has introduced me to a lot of people, but I don't know them, yet.
I finally decided to sneak off to myself. Somewhere, where I wasn't bumping into to someone every time I turn around.
I can see a few hay bails stacked up, just a short walk away from the crowd. I made my way to them and tried to grab one of the bails from the stack. It took a few tries but I managed eventually!
I sat down, to relax for a while.
I looked up towards the sky, to admire it's beauty.
It was a full moon and every constellation was begging to be noticed.
It was just so peaceful!
I leaned my back against the stack of hay, closed my eyes and slowly breathed in the warm night air.
It wasn't my bed, but at this moment, it was the next best thing.
I guess I fell asleep, but it definitely didn't last long.
I started to feel uneasy, like someone was watching me.
When I opened my eyes, I almost screamed!
That creepy guy from the Diner was standing over me!
THANK YOU
