Chapter 6I had spent the night with a gorgeous woman who was interested in me romantically. She wasn’t pretending. She didn’t have a partner. Despite feeling pulled in different directions by past a past lover, she chose me.
Admittedly, though, it hadn’t all been painless. I had barely slept at all last night, both from gay excitement, and from the pain in my ribs. It led to some very uncomfortable sleeping positions, especially since I didn’t want to wake up Victoria when she was sleeping so peacefully. She was horrified when I told her I hadn’t really slept.
