I breathed a sigh of relief. Now I needed to edit out the stumbles and pauses and add some music. The editors would do the rest. Usually we pitched ideas and waited for approval before filming, but in this case, I’d let it speak for itself. I didn’t think this would need to be the end of my journalism career; in fact, it might help it. Women’s magazines fed off gossip and notoriety, after all. Maybe it would get us more views. But if the editors thought it would hurt their image then they wouldn’t publish it. And then I would have to find some other way to make myself feel better about this entire mess.
