Kristen was coming back to Canada.
Jon agreed to pick her up with me at the airport, since he was able to drive. We were finally able to act like two friends again. We had a nice conversation on the way over, too.
“You must be really happy to finally have your girlfriend here with you,” he observed on our way there.
“Yes,” I said. “It’s going to be amazing to actually be able to do everything we did while she was here, but for longer. Forever, maybe.”
He raised a brow. “It’s that serious, hm?”
