His Dominace

Author's POV: Anna Blike, the eldest daughter of the Blike family, was on her way to the dormitory when her phoned buzzed, taking it out, she saw it was her father calling which was weird because he never called her. She answered the call and waited for the man on the other end of the phone to speak. Anna's POV: "Hello honey it's your mom, your dad,siblings and I missed you a lot why don't you come home this evening for dinner?" my stepmom's voice came through. I hated that voice more than I could ever imagine. Dad had married her months after my mom's death. Even after I protested of their marriage they still went ahead with it. I knew they needed something and that was the reason for their calling. I mean if not why else would they call me. "Sorry, I am quite busy with school work" I said trying my very best to sound polite, after all I have received quite some beatings from my own father for disrespecting his two faced wife. Then I heard my dad snort at me. "You are such an ungrateful brat, at least know that tomorrow is your mother.." my dad was saying when I interrupted agreeing to go to the family house after all I needed to pay visit to my mother's grave this year as well . I entered my dorm and threw myself on the bed when my room mate Jessie walked in from her bath. "Sad are we?" she asked as she sat in front of the dressing table to apply some pomade. I just let out a simple ‘hum’ and continue to lay down on the bed. She just giggled and continued to do whatever she was doing. I finally got up and headed for the showers leaving Jessie there to wear her dress. As the the cold water hit my skin memories from when i was a kid came flashing back right at me. How I was happy with mom and dad, time surely flies and now my once loving and caring father hates me to the bone because I survived instead of my mother in the car accident, what a joke. I decided to push those thoughts aside and focus on what that sudden call was all about. I wore a simple black dress and tied my hair up in a bun. Jessie had left for a party her friends had invited her to. I stood by the road side and hailed a cab to my house. I stood in front of the big gates to my house. Once upon a time, my mom and dad would wait for me right in front of this gate to welcome me with their big and loving smile that could change my mood instantly. Dad would carry me on his shoulders to tell me I was his greatest blessing ever. Once upon a time he would buy me the whole world just to put on a smile on my face. Today, he doesn’t give two flying f***s about my well-being yet alone acknowledge the fact that I am his eldest daughter. I took in a deep breathe, pushed open the door and walked inside the home I once felt safe in.
