CHAPTER 3:CRAZY CONFESSIONS

The day was any other day. Alice kept consoling Rosie to forget about what happened the night at the ball. During one of the free periods, Rosie asked to be alone as she was feeling uneasy around Max and went to her favorite spot. She took out her guitar and started singing her heart out. She does that every time she feels down as singing helps her to take her mind off things.

After singing, she realized Draco was standing there. He came and sat beside her complementing on how well she plays the guitar and how sweet her voice is. They started conversing about their lives, all the perfect memories, and their favorites. They soon realized they had so much in common. They had the same taste of music, they both love horror and more. Soon, the free period was about to end and they went back to their own classes.

During the break, just as Rosie and Alice were about to come out of class Henri stopped Rosie. Alice was asked to wait outside and they were both discussing something seriously. Alice eavesdropped and as Rosie came out of the class, she hugged and consoled her to calm down.

Draco saw all of this from a distance and couldn't understand anything. Rosie and Alice kept everything a secret and the cheerful Rosie was soon gone. This went on for three whole days.No one suspected any difference in Rosie except Draco. He tried finding out about what was happening by himself.

One day, as he was walking down the hallways, Rosie came running and bumped into him accidentally. She hugged him after seeing that it was him. He lifted her face to make her look at him. She was crying and he saw Alice coming after her, shouting her name. Alice called out to Rosie and she broke her hug and turned away facing Alice.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

"It's just that---"

"Don't tell him," Rosie whispered.

"Nothing. Just some personal problem," Alice said to Draco.

"But---"

"Excuse me," Rosie said running to the girls' washroom.

"ROSIE!Uhmm, I'm sorry Draco. I'll talk to her," Alice said following Rosie.

"Okay," he said in reply.

Alice followed Rosie and saw her sobbing. She consoled her and ask her to wash her face. They went to a quiet place which was obviously the Science Garden, which was Rosie's all-time favorite. Thanks to the Science club they joined because they created this place. Alice and Rosie sat there and talked.

"Look, I think you should tell Draco about what happened,"

"How can I? What if he goes into a fight?"

"Can't you see it? He's concerned about you,"

"All of them were,"

"Look, Rosie. Not everyone's the same. Draco is seriously concerned about you,"

"How sure are you?"

"Didn't you see his face? He was genuine,"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I am. Now just text him asking him to pick you up after classes,"

"Okay.Since you say so,"

Rosie then took out her phone and started texting Draco. He replied in a split second. He was seriously concerned about her and what had happened.

Rosie: Hey, you free later?

Draco: Hi.Yes, why?

Rosie: Mind dropping me home after

classes?

Draco: No, of course not.What about

your car?

Rosie: Alice will drive it home

Draco: So, mind if I ask what

happened?

Rosie: I'll tell you later.

Draco: Ok, Take care.Bye!❤

Rosie: Bye

Draco was waiting for Rosie at the car park for a long time but she was nowhere to be seen. He decided to go look for her. He suddenly heard a scream, "JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" and Rosie came running. Her shirt was dirty and messy and her ponytail was loose. She had bruises on her hand. She saw Draco standing over and hugged him. She was crying hysterically. He took her to his car and consoled her.

He let her sit and asked her what had happened. She hugged him again and he hugged back. She started telling him what had happened all this while. She made him promise he wouldn't go mad and start a fight.

---At the ball---

"Just after you left to get a drink, Max approached me. He was drunk," she started. "He started saying that he loved me and---"

"Rosie, I really love you,"

"Max, what's wrong with you? You're totally drunk,"

"I am not. I hate seeing you with him, giggling and all,"

"Max----"

"I love you, I really love you,"

"Max, stop it!"

"You let some stranger touch you. Why not me?" He started touching her.

"STOP IT! You're insane. Draco didn't touch me!"

"I am mad about you, and that i***t was holding your waist,"

"It was part of the dance,"

"Still----"

"Leave me alone,"

"-----I then ran away from him and you followed me. The following day, the other guys started going mad,"

---At the class---

"And earlier this morning, Henri asked me about his answer to what he asked the day before. That day, he proposed to me and I said no. Then, he started going berserk and we fought. I said the same today but he wasn't going to hear and just now, Theo, Heath, Max, Henri, and Chris came to the classroom. I was alone---'

'What did I tell you about seeing Draco?"

"Ouch! Leave my hand, Max!"

"You were hugging him didn't you?"

"MY HAIR, HENRI!"

"You're mine and only mine!"

"Leave me, please. I don't want a relationship with anyone. I beg you,"

"We're not going to leave you. Not until we make you ours before that i***t Draco does,"

"JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!"

"I screamed and left that place. They were torturing me for four whole days. I just couldn't take it anymore,"

She started crying and Draco put his arms around her calming her down. He then drove to the nearby Starbucks. He asked Rosie to clean herself up and sat at the table in the corner. He ordered a cappuccino and Rosie's favorite dark chocolate. She soon came and sat opposite him. She thanked him for everything.

"Hey, look at me. You can trust me always. I'll always be there for you,"

He said holding her hand.

"Thanks, Draco. That really means a lot,"

"Whatever it is don't hesitate to tell me,"

"Okay," she said smiling.

He then drove Rosie home. They hugged and Rosie thanked Draco for the ride home. He invited her and Alice for dinner to make her take her mind off recent events and she agreed. Meanwhile, Alice was talking to her boyfriend whom she has been seeing recently. She was about to cancel her date before she saw Rosie's happy face. She hung up the phone quickly.

Alice ran up to Rosie and hugged her. She asked her what had happened and Rosie narrated the whole story. Alice was happy for her and soon they both started getting ready for their dates. Alice had called her boyfriend, Asher, and confirmed their date. It was 7 p.m when Draco came and pick Rosie up.

He complimented and hugged her. He brought her to a fancy restaurant and they ate while talking. Draco really made Rosie forget about all the dark memories. He brought her to a park and they walked down the path telling their hearts out. The place was lovely under the moonlight. Draco stepped towards Rosie his eyes glittering in the soft light from the moon.

They were so close, Rosie could smell his cologne. They stared at each other. Draco's hand reached out to Rosie's and he pulled her closer. Soon, without realizing it, they were leaning in to kiss. They pulled away fast. As Rosie feels Draco's hands leaving her hips, she immediately longed for the touch again. She couldn't understand this feeling. They smiled at each other and continued to walk towards Draco's car.

They had so much fun. Draco sent her home and Rosie invited him in. When they were in her bedroom alone, she gave him a handmade gift in return for his help. He smiled and as they were staring at each other, about to kiss unknowingly, Alice came in with Asher. They were all shocked to see each other. It looked like everyone was about to have a romantic time but got interrupted and ruined by each other.

"Oops, sorry to ruin the moment," Alice said.

"I-I think-I'll better be going," Draco stammered.

"Me too, girls," Asher said after Draco and they both went out.

"I'll go take a bath,"

"Hey, wait. Draco, huh?"

"What? What are you talking about?"

"Admit it. You guys were about to kiss,"

"Alice, it---"

"You guys are gonna be so cute together,"

"Uhmm, Alice---"

"And I want the details now!"

"What details?"

"About the date,"

"It wasn't a date. We just had dinner,"

"And?"

"We walked at the park---"

"Then?"

"Then, we kinda, maybe---"

"Let the cat out of the bag!"

"Okay. We were about to kiss,"

"I KNEW IT! Draco and Rosie are dating,"

"Alice, time to sleep,"

"Rosie's dating Draco and Draco's dating Rosie,"

All this went on and on until Alice got tired and slept. Rosie couldn't sleep that night. All that she could think of is Draco. Was she in love with him? All kinds of questions were running through her head. She took her phone, put on her headphones, and went to the balcony. It was a beautiful night with the moon shining bright with the stars around it. Then, her phone beeped.

Draco: Hey, you asleep?

Rosie: No, why?

Draco: I couldn't sleep.

Rosie: Me too.

Draco: Uhmmm,can I call you?

Rosie: Ya, sure.

With that, Draco called her and they talked the whole night. They were giggling and had fun over the phone. They talked about the night and all. Soon, they fell in love without realizing it. Draco made Rosie forget all her problems and she made him feel he had someone who he could always care for and a person who shared everything with him after his parents divorced a few years back. He got himself a very good friend.
