UNEXPECTED

CHAPTER 6:YOU'RE UNDER ARREST

Later that evening, Mr.Blaze and Madam Sally came to visit Rosie. Rosie invited them in and gave them tea to drink. "I'm sorry for your loss girls," Madam Sally said sitting in between the girls and giving them a motherly hug. "Rosie, you should get some rest to get over this. Loosen up yourself. Try going somewhere for this holiday. You have four whole days. Try getting your mind off it," Mr.Blaze suggested. Rosie gave him a warm smile.

After they left, Rosie sat in front of the fireplace trying to get over the grief and think about what everyone had said. She instantly fell asleep on the floor without realizing it. She woke up as the rays of sunshine kissed her cheeks. She was surprised to find herself sleeping on the couch. She stood up and a sweet, peaceful scent filled the room. She went to the kitchen and saw breakfast on the table and Draco was there, in her kitchen making pancakes.

"Hey, good morning, babe," Alice greeted her joining Draco and helping him. "Good morning," Rosie replied. "Now, go get dressed fast. We have a guest," Alice hurried her upstairs.

Rosie took a cold shower and sat for breakfast. Draco sat next to her and Alice sat opposite her. They ate the pancakes Draco made and had a small talk.

"How are you feeling, Rosie?" Draco asked.

"Much better,"

"So, Rosie. I wanted to ask you a few questions if you don't mind,"

"Sure,"

"Okay. First, Alice and I had planned to take you out for a few days,"

"I'm listening...."

"We want to try to make you forget about this grief. Would you come?"

"Sure, why not. You guys have done a lot for me,"

"Next, Draco asked if he could move in with us," Alice said in between.

"You know, just for these four days. I'm worried about you?" Draco explained.

"Of course you can," Rosie agreed.

As they were talking trying to divert their minds from the grief, the doorbell rang. Alice went and opened it up and a man in his 30s stepped in. Rosie greeted him and he introduced himself as Mr.Matthew, her dad's manager. Rosie asked him to sit and asked what's the matter. He replied saying, "Nice to meet you, Ms.Hearts.As you see, now you're are the boss of both your parents' company. I know it's been hard on you. I've brought you all the records of the companies. You may take your time studying it before joining work. This might help you keep track of the business,"

"Thank you, Mr.Matthew.I really appreciate that,"

"I will meet you soon,"

"Sure,"

"Now, keep that file aside and pack your things," Alice said grabbing the file.

"Pack my things?"

"Yes, we're going out of town and will be staying in a hotel for two days,"

"What?!"

"No arguments. What is said, is said. Pack up girl,"

Rosie went to her room and packed a few clothes. She went to her dressing table and saw her mum's bracelet and necklace. She took them and wore them around her wrist and neck. Her eyes teared up seeing those things but she just wiped off her tears knowing she must be strong at this moment now as her responsibilities had increased. She looked back at the mirror and she saw her mum's reflection smiling back at her with a slight disappointment on her face.

Rosie stared at the reflection for a long time before Alice called her. She smiled at her and took her bag downstairs. When she reached Draco's car, she saw Asher standing there. Asher and Alice sat in the back seat and Rosie sat in the front while Draco drove. It was a long journey. Draco tried distracting Rosie, talking to her and making her laugh. Alice and Asher on the other hand were snogging the whole ride. They seriously had planned their honeymoon earlier than they should.

They soon reached a grand hotel and entered a luxurious suite. It had two bedrooms and a quite big living room. The girls took one room which was on the right whereas the boys took the opposite room. It was 12.30 in the afternoon and Alice suggested going to the beach. Rosie first refused to join but everyone made her agree. The beach was nearby and they drove there. When they reached, they laid down a mat and sat, sunbathing.

A few moments later, Rosie stood up and walked down the beach. Alice and Asher were making out. She walked, thinking about all the events that happened when someone ran and walked beside her. She turned to see Draco smiling back at her. He saw a teardrop rolling down her cheek. He reached out and wiped it, "Remembered your family?" he asked and she nodded. "Rosie, I know it's hard as I've also been in this situation but you must be strong. I know you will," he said lifting her face.

"Promise me you will forget about the past and come back to us as the same old Rosie by the day we are back at home,". Rosie nodded and promised him and he hugged her tightly. She didn't understand why but she felt safe around him. They then walked back and saw Alice and Asher flirting. They all then went back to the hotel. The four of them spent their day playing indoor games and going around the place in the evening. The place looked amazing at night.

Night fell, it was 11:30 p.m. and Draco came out of his room to find Asher who wasn't there and he also felt thirsty. He saw Rosie staring out of the window and stared at how beautiful she looked for a moment. "Hadn't sleep yet?" he asked moving closer to her. "Nah, I couldn't sleep," she replied facing him.

"Have you seen Asher?

"He is with Alice in our room. They were...You know..."

"Making out?"

"Maybe,"

"They are like making out and flirting the whole time!"

"I know, right,"

"So, where are you gonna sleep?"

"On this couch or I might not sleep,"

"Why don't you sleep in my room? Asher's not there. I can sleep on the couch,"

"Oh, it's okay, Draco. I can sleep here,"

"Nope. You're definitely not sleeping here,"

They argued and came to a conclusion that they will both sleep on the bed in Draco's room. They had to share a blanket and they slept peacefully. Rosie had a nightmare where she saw her family members getting killed in a car crash. "NO!" she screamed waking up. Draco also woke up and saw her trembling with fear and crying. He hugged her tightly and calmed her back to sleep. He kissed her on the forehead as she lay back down. He laid beside her and hugged her from behind assuring her everything was alright.

Draco and Rosie woke up spooning each other but ignored it. That day, they had planned to go around shopping and to the swimming pool before heading home. They packed their things beforehand so that they can check out easily. Alice and Rosie packed a few of their things in small bags. The four of them had great fun that day and were on their way home that evening and reached night. Asher went to his house and the other three went to sleep immediately after reaching as they were exhausted.

The morning sun hit Draco's face. He woke up yawning and sat upright on his bed. He was greeted by Rosie giving him bed coffee. He was shocked but happy to see her because she was wearing short jeans and a crop top with her hair up in a high ponytail with braids. She went out of the room living him staring after her. Draco had a shower and put on a pair of jeans and a T-shirt and went down for breakfast. He saw Rosie looking at something on her laptop and Alice making breakfast.

The three of them had breakfast and talked about Rosie's family business. They discussed it and planned to go to the office that afternoon to collect some files and information. Alice and Draco were both over the moon seeing that Rosie is finally back on track. They went to the office and had a meeting with all the employees. Rosie was busy collecting everything she had lost these two days and came back as the same old Rosie everyone knew and admired after the holidays were over.

Rosie went to classes as usual and stayed as the best student of her year just like before. After classes, she will work at her parents' office and went home at 7 p.m., and continue her daily routine. All her daily activities remained the same except this time she had to concentrate on her new responsibilities as well. She was excellent at managing her time. All her three best friends, Alice, Draco, and Asher were all there to support her and help her. They also worked with her as her personal manager and advisor and get paid like the others.

Soon, Rosie's business became more successful and she became a multimillionaire at a young age. She was also an inspiration to all youngsters out there as she didn't stop studying for her dream job to become a pharmacist. She was more independent and stronger than before. Draco often visited her and she even got to meet his family once. Mr.Lightwing and Draco's twin siblings, Stella and Stan were kind towards her and made her feel at home. She felt lucky and happy about it.

One day as Rosie and Alice walked down the hallways, Emma came towards them and announced that Riley was having a party that night and everyone was invited. It was a rainbow-themed party so Rosie and Alice decided to go shopping for beautiful dresses. Draco and Asher also joined them. They all chose the same colored attires and the boys came to change at Rosie's house. They were all joyous to go and have fun after all that happened lately.

As she was changing into her dress, Draco burst in without knocking. "Oh...Uhmm...I'm sorry...I didn't mean to...." he stammered. "You should really learn how to knock," Rosie said shocked. "Where's Alice?"

"Uhmm...She's with Asher,"

"Oh, crap.Not now,"

"Why?"

"I need her to tie up the ribbon,"

"Oh. Mind if I tie it up for you?"

"Uh...In this case, sure. Please tie it up for me,"

"Okay,"

Rosie turned around facing the mirror so that Draco could tie the ribbon on her dress. He stared at her bareback and walk towards her. He ran his fingers over her back and she felt a rush through her body. He tied the ribbon and looked at her in the mirror. She looked gorgeous. He then removed her hair from her shoulders to reveal her neck. He suddenly kissed her on the neck with the faintest bit of teeth, pinching her skin. She closed her eyes, breathing heavily. A delicious shiver ran down her spine as she feels his breath on her.

"Dr-Draco...What are you doing?" she whispered and he moved away.

Both of them couldn't understand what had just happened. Draco himself couldn't find an explanation for what happened and why he had done that. Rosie shared her feeling with Alice and she just said that this explains clearly that Rosie is falling in love with Draco and he is also falling for her. Alice asked her to wait and see what happens at the party tonight. Even Asher said the same to Draco when he told Asher what had happened between him and Rosie. Asher asked him to just admit his feelings for Rosie at the party.

The party started and Draco came towards Rosie who was standing with Alice in a quiet corner. He held her hand and pulled her towards him. He placed his hand around her waist and pressed her body against his. He leaned in and kissed her neck then her cheek. He revealed his feelings to her and told her he thinks he is falling in love with her. She looked straight into his eyes and smiled. She hugged him tightly saying, "I guess so too. I will think about it, Draco,"

Draco stood there, blushing and looking after Rosie who faded into the crowd. Asher was happy for Draco and asked him to propose to Rosie to officially become his girlfriend as they are already close enough with each other. Draco cheerfully went and searched for Rosie but she was nowhere to be seen. He asked Alice but she replied that Rosie was long gone finding for him. Draco started to worry.

Draco called out for Rosie walking around the hall and rooms. He tried her mobile but she didn't answer. He tried looking down at the hall to see if Max, Henri, and Julie so that he don't have to worry if they had done something to her as they are waiting for an opportunity to take revenge on her. At this point, he started to panic when he couldn't find any of them. He called Alice and Asher to tell them about it and the three of them went to find Rosie in different directions.

Alice then found Rosie screaming for help but she wasn't alone. Max, Henri, Heath, Chris, Theo, Liz, Annie, and even Julie was there. They were hurting her and forced her to drink something. Panicking, Alice dialed Asher's and Draco's number before bursting in to help her best friend. "s**t, she found us," Julie cursed and Chris grabbed Alice's hand saying, "We will have a double meal now," They all laughed. Rosie begged them to leave Alice alone and she has nothing to do with anything to do with what's happening.

They kept on hurting Rosie and she cried in pain. Alice couldn't bear to see her sister in pain. Soon after, Draco entered the room and they all left Alice but were still keeping hold of Rosie. Draco was about to hit them when Asher entered the room with his father who was a police officer. They left Rosie and she hugged Draco who came to her. She felt dizzy and had a lot of bruises on her body. He held her tightly.

"Max Greengod, Heath Amherst, Julie Damien, Annie Bates, Liz Armed, Theo Aldaine, Chris Heffle, and Henri Maxmus.To the police station with me now," Mr.Axels said and the eight of them followed. Julie glared at Rosie before leaving. All of a sudden, Rosie fainted. Draco held her and tried to wake her up. Alice rushed to her and sprinkled some water on her face but she wouldn't wake up.

"They forced her to drink something, maybe that made her faint," Alice said. Draco said he will drop Alice and Rosie at home and that he will stay that night looking after Rosie. Alice agreed.
