I slowly woke up to the sun streaming into the bedroom. My eyelids felt heavy as I opened my eyes, surprised at how exhausted I still was. Yesterday had drained me, but the joy of seeing my sister had been worth it. I could hardly believe she was actually here and alive, and I was eager to see her again.
