“Stay with me, okay?” Doctor Simone said with a syringe in his hand. “I’m going to shoot this into you. It’ll make you contract faster and it will force your uterus to push him out. Right now, you can’t push him, anymore. If you do, he’s going to do more damage than he had already done. It will also heal your back for you while you rest.”
Almost out of it, I just simply nodded my head. I watched as the needle he held was inserted into my stomach. I flinched and Kain held both of my hands down. Doctor Simone removed the needle and he rubbed my stomach.
“One other thing.” He said. “You will be able to get some sleep for a good hour. Then, it will increase the contraction pain and your body will work on its own.”
