“Hand me my bag.” Doctor Simone told Kain. “Dale, come here.”
Dale rushed to Doctor Simone’s side while Kain grabbed the bag off the ground, by the bed. Lorraine walked over to the bed and watched what Doctor Simone was doing to Alias.
“He’s not breathing.” Doctor Simone told her.
He placed a silicone cup around Alias’ mouth and began to squeeze air into him. I looked at Kain, who was just watching the whole thing. What the f**k happened? Karla leaned down to my ear.
“He’ll come to it.” She whispered to me.
That did not help at all. Kieran grabbed my hands and pulled me off the bed.
“Go take a shower.” He told me. “Let them do what they need to do, okay?”
