Chapter 17 Doyle walked back to the station feeling perplexed about Kord. The guy was still keeping his distance—which Doyle had to wonder about. Was it fear of himself that kept Kord distant or had he really just been caught in a weird, in-the-moment thing with Doyle? A moment that Kord now regretted?
