Chapter 12 Doyle yawned as he looked at The Jack Boot’s tall wooden gate. He figured he could do this interview more easily if he had another cup of coffee. He was sure, however, that coffee wasn’t something the club served. The Jack Boot was relatively quiet at Midnight. As an afterhours club, the peak crowds of the evening didn’t arrive until one or two AM.
