Witchy Wingwoman: The Beginning
It was a typical Wednesday night for Harper, who was at her favorite cafe, The Witching Hour, catching up with her friend and fellow witch, Sarah. As they sat at the counter sipping on their drinks, Harper couldn't help but overhear the conversation happening at the table nearby. A group of vampires were discussing their dating troubles, and Harper couldn't help but feel a twinge of familiarity with their struggles.
Suddenly, an older vampire, a tall, dark-haired man, approached their table and started to flirt with a vampire named Maxine. Maxine smiled and politely declined his advances, mentioning that she was there with her friends. But as the night went on, he became more persistent, and eventually, he grabbed Maxine's arm, trying to pull her away from her table.
Without hesitation, Harper used her powers to freeze the vampire in place, causing him to drop her arm. She turned to Maxine, checking to see if she was alright, before scowling at the man.
"What's your problem? Don't interfere with things that don't concern you," he sneered, his tone growing angry.
"You're the one who can't handle rejection. She hasn't given you any indication that she was interested in you, yet you're still trying to pursue her," Harper said, her own anger rising.
"She's just playing hard to get. I know she wants me," he snarls.
"You're out of line," she said firmly. "I suggest you apologize and leave before things get worse for you."
"Fine," he spat, his eyes flashing with anger. "But you'll regret this. No one turns me down."
"I don't regret standing up for her. You're the one who should be regretting your actions," Harper replied, unfreezing him.
The vampire's companions quickly apologized on his behalf and helped him out of the bar. Harper and Sarah finished their drinks, but Harper couldn't shake off the feeling of unease. She knew that this was not the end of this and she'll have to be more careful in the future.
She couldn't help but think about how, just like the vampires she had just helped, she too had struggled with dating within the supernatural community.
As they left the bar, Harper couldn't shake off the feeling that she needed to do something to help others like her. She knew that she wanted to make a change in the supernatural dating scene, and she couldn't help but think that this was the start of something big.
