“I can't believe that she said those words to me,” Koko said letting tears flow down her face.
“I am sorry Koko. I am sure that she didn't mean it that way,” Cusa said trying to pacify Koko.
“You should see the way she looked at me as if I was the lowest vermin on earth,” Koko said pouting.
Cusa ran his hand through his hair in frustration. He wasn't good at handling emotional stuff. He didn't know how best to make Koko feel better.
When he had returned downstairs after Mitena stormed out of the room, he had gotten downstairs to realize that Koko too had left the sitting room to return to her room.
