KINLEY SIPPED HER COFFEE. She made sure to take the corner seat today to see what Black would do. He strolled in with the same book, only the moment Black saw Kinley had taken his spot, he paused. Kinley wondered what he would do. Would Black sit closer to Pearl or move to another area of the coffee shop? Kinley watched intently as he got his coffee. Black kept looking up at Kinley, obviously hoping she’d be done and leaving by the time he needed to sit.
Kinley amused herself. Nope. Not today. Today is the day you make a move Mister, she thought to herself.
As Black moved closer to the seating area, he looked around briefly at the empty seating options.
