Chapter 14 IT WAS SOMEHOW GETTING easier for Carter to tell how many days had passed by. Not in numbers but in visits. Routine as it was, it was helpful for Carter to keep track of time. His parents and sister came every day without fail. His brother and sister-in-law came every other day. Rodney and his mother, every weekend.
