Chapter 31 Carl made his way up the metal stairs and keyed in a combination at the main door of Studio 31. It was just before 11pm and had been quiet on the roads, so he had arrived quickly after his pager alert. He stepped into the main reception and moved into a corridor before stopping at one of the steel doors. He typed in another sequence of numbers onto the pad before they hissed open and Carl stepped through. Harry, the comms operator, looked up from his screen and grunted a greeting. He had been there all night and looked it.
