Prelude: Part 1
No one knows what happened. No one knew or so everyone thought. I knew. I was there. I saw it all. It started out as a normal day. I got up, went to school, and went home.
"Mom, I'm going to the park to meet up with some friends it may take me a while, so don't wait up," I said to her shortly after we finished our early dinner.
I was an only child, so I was the only person she had to worry about. I was lying when I said I was going to the park and the part about friends, I don't have any except for my art. I was heading to see the head of the art department, Mr.Kindy, at the museum just outside of town to the north.
You see I lived in a small town in the country, we were barley known as a town at all, my house was way down in the southern part of this town, while the museum was way up north near the edge of town. You see the people that live in this town, we gave it a nickname, we call it, hollowville. Now don't ask me why, then we would be here for years and neither of us wants that, trust me.
When I arrived, I asked to see Mr.Kindy and was lead directly to his office, I showed him my art piece, which was made of wires, oil paints, scrap metal, and scrap paper.
"It's hideous and disgusting, but..." he started to say, "it also has a uniqueness to it, I would love to have it in my museum." I was in complete shock that he liked it, but then a siren went off.
