THE UNKNOWN WORLD

CHAPTER SEVEN

After about an hour, she was done shopping. She looked at everything she had gotten.

A hand mirror, pearl earrings, two handbags, one for her, the other for Noah, a linen garment, a bracelet, a pendant, a box of sweet cakes and sweets, the book and finally, a pocket knife. She had planned to hide it and the book in her sleeves when the servant wasn't looking, she knew Madame Tirzah will ask about everything she bought and she didn't want the woman to think she was planning something. She wasn't planning to kill anyone, she just missed holding a weapon, it made her powerless.

The servant was angry at her confidence, how she could confidently spend somebody else's money as if it was her's. He didn't understand why the Madame would like her, she was nothing but a dancer.

"I'll get the carriage" He said to her. He had kept it with a merchant of horses for a fee.

Becca looked around her, the market was filled with people, buying and selling. She took the book out of its wrap and opened it.

The first page had a sentence, strange yet thrilling.

"Have you heard of a place called Earth "

Then it was as if it was glued together, the pages refused to open, she was so engrossed in it that while she was at it, people were being chased out of the road.

She turned around at a piercing sound and saw a carriage charging to her, but she couldn't move because her mind and body felt like it wasn't there. The horses knocked her back and she fell into a jewellery store, she lay there, looking at the sky, it looked blue, blue and beautiful, she smiled, her head hurt.

She didn't understand what was wrong with her, on earth, she wasn't the type to feel weak at times like this, but here she was, laying there, unable to stand.

She saw two men walk to her, they were going to raise her up and she closed her eyes.

She felt she was going home.

"Welcome back, Earth "

was her thought as she blacked out and blood flowed from her forehead, where she had a gash.

Rebecca looked around her, she saw that she was standing in a room, a room painted white, she saw the blue curtains, typically found in hospitals. She was on earth!!

She turned and saw herself, laying on the bed, on life support, she covered her mouth.

The door opened, Liam walked in holding a cup of coffee.

"Liam, Liam!!" She called, but he didn't even act like she was in the room. He couldn't see nor hear her.

He walked to the bed and sat beside her body. She walked to him and tried to touch bit it only looked like she was waving in the air.

"Liam, I am here, I am still alive, send help please"

She saw that there were no cuffs on her wrists.

Liam sipped slowly.

"When are you going to wake up, big head" He said. "Xander is going crazy because of you, didn't I tell you not to do anything stupid, blockhead?"

She smiled and sighed.

"I know right, I need you to hang on Liam, I will be back in my own body again, this is just the beginning"

"Agent McKenzie is giving me a hard time, that i***t shouldn't have gone to your house in the first place, if only you had just listened to me, maybe you would still be alive, you are just laying here looking dead"

The healer fiddled with her wrists while Prince Li-Amh searched through her things.

"Eunuch Zee" He called.

"Yes, your highness?" Answered Zee, with a bow.

"Have you sent a messenger to her mistress?"

"Yes, your highness, they should be a reply any time from now"

"Liam" Rebecca called softly from her sleep, they turned to her. "Liam....Liam"

"What impudence, how dare this lowly lady call the name of his royal highness with her filthy mouth, I will wake her up and put a stop to this disrespect"

"Don't" The prince stopped him before he coul wake her up. "Can't you see she is unconscious? you will wake the poor thing for nothing"

Zee moved back with a bow and cast a distasteful look at her.

Prince Li-Amh held the pocket knife in his hand, he glanced at the other things in the bag. he wondered what a young lady like her was doing with a knife.

"She is Fair lady Sol, your highness Eunuch Zee said.

"Who is Fair lady Sol?" The prince was ignorant.

The healer looked up at him, even the eunuch was gaping.

"What??? Who is she?"

"Everybody knows this lady, she works in that House, the Evil House" Eunuch Zee said.

"She works for... Madame Tirzah?" The prince asked.

"Yes, your highness"

The prince turned to her, he was thinking.

A eunuch arrived with news for the crown prince.

"Your Highness, master Kenan Elidad is here and seeks for your presence"

Prince Li-Amh turned to the door, Zee bowed as the prince walked ahead.

Prince Li-Amh walked in front, Elidad closely behind him and eunuch Zee by his right hand.

"It's a beautiful evening, your highness" Elidad said, the prince nodded and they walked together around the garden, talking about everything else other than the thing which had brought Elidad into the palace.

Prince Li-Amh got tired, he knew Elidad was itching to say something to him but didn't know how to begin, with eunuch Zee around them. He suddenly turned to the eunuch.

"Wait for us here"

The eunuch bowed as the two men walked ahead.

"You can go ahead" The prince said.

"I am sorry, your highness, for being too obvious" Elidad apologized. "Your suspicions were true, there is someone from your quarters who gives Prince Irad informations, that is why he knew about the search for Dong Shira"

Prince Irad sighed.

"He is doing everything he can to bring me down, isn't it? A spy?? And news about the whereabouts of Dong Shira"

"It's like she has been wiped out of the surface of this world, she isn't in any of the neighbouring towns, I have deployed seven of our men to find her"

"Remember, she must be brought back alive, Li-Irad cannot do anything for now, Dong Shira isn't a threat to him"

"You can't be sure about that, your highness, she ran away,she must have been frightened"

"Shira isn't the type to be frightened by anything"

Elidad sighed. They stopped talking and watched the moon together.

"Kol Othniel lost his wife last night" Elidad said.

"Isn't that his third wife?"

"It is actually his fifth... I am not sure of him anymore, the people are worried"

"Of him??" Prince Li-Amh turned to him.

"It is strange that all his wives keep losing their lives, I don't actually think it's normal anymore"

"How did she die?"

"She died after the ' Bride bath "

(A bride bath is done by a mother-in-law to a daughter-in-law before the consummation night)

"Go ahead"

"Pardon?"

"Do what you have in mind, investigate him, but do it secretly"
