Saturday came, and Diane granted Lucas' request to go home. He will continue his rest until this weekend and go back to school the following Monday.
"You are not allowed to go anywhere," Diane kept reminding Lucas.
"I promise I won't step out of the gates, but I might take walks in the yard," Lucas smiled with his answer helplessly. Yet, he cannot say with confidence that what he did last time, although not the same act, he might do something impulsive again in the future whether he likes it or not, so he was careful not to say a word he cannot keep.
"The walks are fine," agreed the mother. "Let's get you home!"
