"Please......" a faint voice came to his ear.

He paused and tried to get himself used to the darkness and find where the voice was coming from. It was too faint to make a guess.

"Please, h.....hel.....help.....me." A girl's voice! He was now sure it was a girl. But where is she? What kind of help did she need? He felt more desperate to free himself from the bind that was holding him.

A girl from his past had been taunting him in his dreams as her pitiful face and petite figure keep flashing through his mind. But then he didn't know he was seeing her almost every day. It was because he could not recognize her with the looks that were embedded in his mind that dark night to what she looks like in the day, looking happy and cheerful all the time. A façade she is tired of playing, but she cannot admit she had been in such a humiliating situation once upon a time, and the one to help her was the guy she had loved from afar ever since she transferred to Greenwoods Junior High last year. He is cool. He is easygoing. He is friendly, not that he starts to make friends, but he is never a snob. He helped her when she was lost around the campus. His name is Lucas.

Will their hearts find their way to each others' arms?

Will Lucas find Faith?

Will Lucas and Faith be fated to love each other?

Chapter 1 Loving Twin Brother
"Stop being an a*s!" Diana reprimanded her twin brother Lucas. "Just do as I say." Lucas turned his eyes to Diana's personal driver and bodyguard. He directly commanded the lady guard to drive the white Murcielago car in the garage, which Diana does not agree with. It was not that she did not like the car. It was the thought that Lucas himself did not like luxury cars to drive to school, yet he strongly demands her driver s***h bodyguard to drive what he thinks is best for her as a girl. He is almost like her second dad. John Richards never interferes with her choices as long as they aren't harmful, but her big bro Lucas was even more strict when it comes to her decisions about choosing to be low profile.  "Girls should show their status for the boys to be intimidated. I don't mind if they are rich or poor. If they are sincere, that is all that matters. But they should know who they are dealing with at the very beginning. They will realize you are not someone to be made fun with by looking at what you have." He once explained when she asked her why is he doing such things. He made himself clear that he did not mean for her to be a snob or look down on people. He just meant that since she is the only daughter, the only girl in their family, she should be treated like a princess. Starting from home and until she builds her own family. She would remain as their only princess that she can come home anytime and whatever may come along, but before that, anyone who wanted to get close with and get close to her will have to be aware of how precious she is being treasured at home.  Their parents, Diane and John, totally agreed with Lucas' point, as well as Asher and Boaz, so everyone tolerated Lucas as he makes choices for her. They aren't absurd, yeah, but she does not agree with her being treated so precious and spoiled. She likes to be herself in whatever she wanna do. Sometimes having such luxurious things around her inhibits her from doing as she wishes. So she complained about it. "You don't have to mind those things being luxurious. You can do what you want as long as it is right." That was what her dad said when she complained about walking around in luxury clothing when she went to a middle-class restaurant to eat snacks with her newfound schoolmates.  Her pureness of heart is what makes Lucas even more serious and obsessed with protecting her from the evil world. He, as a guy, can see how men look at a girl like her. He hopes and prays to find a girl with such pureness of heart. A girl like her will no doubt become a lady like their mom. Upright yet loving. So, he follows in his dad's footsteps of being a good man. He never played around with women. He dated a few, but when he realizes their true character, which does not match his standards, he doesn't keep it going. And he never goes beyond kissing them.  Lucas-Miller Richards, the eldest son of Diane Lee-Miller and John Michaelson Richards, twin brother to Diana Marie Richards, is a low-profile teenage billionaire. He is just in the last year of his Junior high life. He and Diana go to a school where a mixture of higher and middle-class families' children go. Some of the kids from the orphanage their parents had founded go to the same school. A student will have to have a general average of 90 on their scholastic records to enter this school. So some of the students here are actually scholar-sponsored. It wasn't too obvious who is rich or poor. Only those who chose to brag about their status. Another reason Diana didn't like the idea of her being told to do so. His great-grandma Betty Richards gave him half of her company share stocks, 30 percent of Richards Electronic Empire's share of stocks had been under his name with a guardian ever since he was born, the other thirty percent belongs to Diana since their dad was not so interested in taking over the management, great-grandma Betty gave her company shares to the firstborn twins of John and Diane. In comparison, she gave fifty percent of her personal properties to Asher and Boaz, 25 % each of them. She is too old now, but she manages their inheritance through their grandad Peter Michaelson. She summons them when there is a potential investment that she would like them to venture at using their money, so they would have to join conference meetings at times with the investors or company representative., Sometimes they are summoned from school that they would arrive with still in their school uniforms, but it didn't bother them. Only the other parties at the meeting would usually be astonished to realize that they are going to be dealing with young people. Although they know Peter and Betty will be guarding and guiding them, it still surprises them to see how the elders of this family are totally respective to their younger generations. The young ones will ask questions that obviously the elders already knew the answers to, but they seemed to be checking how the person being asked is going to explain and make the questioning person clearly understand. It will reflect good feedback for their profession if they succeed, but it will absolutely be the end of their career if they fail. These youngsters of the Richards and Miller's have been exposed to business at their young ages that compare to what they might be learning through textbooks and lectures. Their actual experiences are quiet enough to equip them to start a business of their own. But they were not allowed to do so. They were reminded again and again that they should go through a normal step by step, level by level, progress to make sure they enjoy every stage of life. "What you are today will be different when tomorrow comes. Today is today. That is why it is called the present. Tomorrow is a gift nicely wrapped for us to open on time. If we unwrap it untimely, it may not be ripe yet. It will be a waste." His great-grandma Betty told all of them once during a family gathering where Lucas asked if he can do a business of his own. With his friends, they were thinking about joining in together to open a bar business. She said, "Go to the bar and enjoy what fun it offers. You don't have to earn from it. There will be a time for that. Now, it is just time to have fun and enjoy. If your friends want to do so, you can be one of their VIPs. You would still be a part of it. Just that you are the side of the one enjoying, not the side of the ones being stressed over responsibilities."  And so he did. He became their most valued customer. Although he does not like drinking so much, he would always order the most expensive drinks the bar could ever offer. It was his way of supporting them, as his friends. And they respected his decisions when he turned down their offer of counting him in.
