The Young Billionaire: "LUCAS"

Chapter 8

"Do you know him?" Jandy asked blatantly. This guy did not recognize him during the incident, if he knew Lucas, he would have known him if he knew Lucas, since they have been together at school for most of the time ever since they started studying there.

"I have noticed him watching Diana from afar many times before. Who are you?" Albert shook in fear, he thought Lucas is a guy who worships his Goddess as well. This powerful person who can abduct anyone at his will, he has no way to compete with such a guy.

"So you have been stalking her, hu? How long have you been doing so?" Lucas furiously asked. He was a bit surprised to realize someone is watching him watching over his little sister. It felt weird. He wasn't doing anything wrong but it still gets into his nerves to even just imagine someone watching his moves from afar. To think that he wasn't actually doing anything obvious as he makes sure his moves are very discreet, yet this guy still noticed him, it was beyond Lucas can accept. He doesn't bring anyone along when he intends to check on her sister so he would not catch any attention from the surrounding people so it was indeed frustrating but at the same time surprising to know a guy like this one could quietly observe his subtle moves, and no one among his civilian bodyguards seemed to have noticed either. He is sure Diana would be more furious to know that someone had been watching her back beside her over protective brother. It doesn't creep her to know Lucas is keeping an eye on her, she had long learned to accept her big brother's overprotectiveness and it actually helped her a lot along the years,  but for a stranger to watch her from afar, it is absolutely disturbing and disgusting. 

"I think ever since I saw her more than two years ago, during our first year in junior high." Albert bowed his head, he knew he would sound pathetic. He had even practiced so many different ways of how to make his approach towards her but they are almost about to move up to senior high yet he hasn't been able to even start a conversation with his worshipped Goddess. He saw Lucas quietly yet very attentively looking at Diana not many times but all through their junior high years up to present, he had absolutely seen Lucas being thoughtfully considering if Diana was in good or bad situation. And if ever Diana was in even just slightly not good circumstances, even before Albert could make a move to rescue his goddess, someone else would interfere to help her. Albert used to feel robbed of a chance to make his approach heroic and acceptable, but  he is also comforted with the thought that many people are ready to assist his beloved goddess. Now it makes him realize, those random people who came to help Diana must have been sent by Lucas. 'Who is this guy?'  He asked himself. He cannot make his curiosity be known as he is aware that he is still under their control, it might not be good to know too much. Ignorance is indeed a bliss, in times and situations like these.

"Wow, that have been quite a while!" Steve exclaimed. But it wasn't actually surprising. They  are well aware that  many boys admire Diana, yet not all of them are bold and brave enough to express their feelings so many are just silently admiring her and dreaming of her from a distance. 

It made Lucas realize that if a guy like this could be unseen and unnoticed, how many else are there doing the same thing without him or anyone in their security have been missing? He has to do something about this. It in not that he is blaming anyone, because he believes there is no one at fault other than himself. He claims to be an overprotective brother yet he failed miserable for almost three years now. This situation helped him realize something very important. He needs to check and brainstorm with everyone concern about this case. He will  talk to his family about this when they get the chance to gather all together. If a simple person like this can freely watch their moves without being seen, their security is not that secure enough. They are missing something huge, and to think the first targeted person was Diana, it really shook his core. Or could this guy be something else than what they can see? What if he is a spy? What if he is just the tip of an iceberg who wants to harm their family?

"Keep him in here for a while." Lucas suddenly blurted out looking at Garwood who was also inwardly surprised with Lucas' sudden command. This scenario had never happened before. They usually let them go free after shaking their whole being with fear. This guy seemed more than willing to do as Lucas will demand him to, so... why would Lucas want this guy to stay and be kept in the barracks for a while?

"What!!!?! Why?!" More than anyone else, Albert was the most and obviously startled to realize what Lucas just said. He did not ask anything anymore because he feared they will not let him go if he knew more about his abductors, and he almost saw it in Lucas' eyes that he was soon to be free and just warn the people who would foolishly do the same stupid thing he did to Diana today, but why did it seem like this Lucas suddenly changed his mind. 

"I need to investigate more about you." Lucas shortly answered before he head out of the interrogation room. Followed by Garwood, Jandy and Steve, the rest of the guys were outside the room watching them over the two way mirror. 

"Boss, may I ask why you wanted to keep him here?" Garwood boldly asked, although hesitation was strongly sensed in his voice.

"It bothers me a lot to realize that he was able to watch over Diana for a long time without us knowing it. But what bothers me the most is the fact that he knew I was watching over Diana from afar. I am sure my moves are unnoticeable and extremely discreet yet he noticed me without him being noticed by me. I fell creepy about this guy. It is either he is very good in hiding himself naturally or intentionally. If it is the latter, our security is not that profound to begin with." Lucas spoke as if he was talking to himself. And so the people around him felt how serious this case was to Lucas, as well as to them being his security team at that. It was indeed a challenge to their competence. 

"Macky, check every data and information about Albert Scott. His origin and connections, circle of friends and groups he is part of. Please check thoroughly, if he is an enemy, he will be very sneaky, so do not leave any rock unturned. You know what I mean, right?" Lucas fixed his eyes to Macky as he gave out his command. 

"On it." Macky returned Lucas' look with a firm nod as he confirmed he got the command loud and clear.
