Shopping spree
Music and laughter filled the room as my mum and I were excited about graduation. Highschool was kinda shitty but with Alicia and Grace things were a lot better. “Mira!”, my mum screamed in excitement calling me to get ready for my outing. “Your friends are here and you don’t want to keep them waiting.” “Yes mum. I’m coming.” Few minutes later we were ready to go the mall to shop for our prom dresses and what we would wear on grad day.
…In the mall…
“Your dad is so nice to have given you his credit card”, Alicia said to Grace. “Yh my dad is fine with it.” “My dad literally gave me a limit”,Alicia said rolling her eyes. “How much?”, I asked. “$2000.” “It’s not bad.” “Well to me it is and we have to enjoy today. How much was yours?” “$1000.” “Oh. Let’s go to Zara they probably have something we would find.” Grace found a really nice corset bodices that highlighted her figure.” Grace had the fullest so it fitted her really well. “Do you like it?”, Alicia asked. “ Yh,I mean does it look good?”, she asked looking at herself in the mirror. “Do you think Cody will notice me?” Cody had always been the popular hot sexy jock in highschool that almost all the girls in school had a crush on and unfortunately had Graces eyes too. I wish Grace could see that he wasn’t meant for her but what could I say? “Grace, who cares what he thinks I think you look pretty on it and it fits you perfectly.” “Really?” “ Yh Grace it actually fits you and I’m pretty sure Cody would be drooling all over you”,Alicia said trying to make her feel good. “I’m taking this.” Alicia and I were still looking for the perfect prom dresses as Grace was checking out other fits. I found a black slick dress while Alicia found a blue dramatic ball gown. We fitted it and it was perfect. Then we paid for our dresses and headed to Swarovski to get jewelries that will match our prom gowns. The store is really exorbitant and I couldn’t afford any jewelry. “Mira what’s wrong? I can always get you one”, Grace said reassuringly. “No it’s fine I can always borrow my mums wedding jewelry.” “Ok we are always there for you”,Alicia said patting me on the back. They bought the jewelry feeling a little bit bad but lucky to have the best friends in the world. “I’m kind of hungry”, Grace said as her stomach growled. “Sorry”, she said giggling. Then my stomach growled and Alicia’s and we all burst into laughter. “Let’s eat at Westfield Culver City.” We settled, bought our foods and Alicia broke the brief silence.“So Mira what school did you finally agree to go to?” “Stanford”, I said proud to have gotten into an Ivy League school. “Guess we have a nerd in our mist. How about you Grace?” “ I haven’t really thought about it probably take a gap year and spend some time with my dad.” “Taking up an acting job?”, I asked curiously. Grace had always wanted to be a big Hollywood star just like her dad which explains her extravagant attitude. “I guess so. Learning from the best isn’t bad after all.” We talked for a while then I felt a little thirsty. “I’m going to order a drink, you guys want any?” “No we are fine.” I walked to the counter, bought my drink and as I was about to leave, I brushed this tall hot blonde. Some of my drink spilled. “I am sorry I could get you another one”, he said as his deep voice echoed in my head. I looked up at him and my gosh those eyes were heavenly. His eyes were ocean blue eyes those type that could set any girl under a love spell, he had curly rough blonde hair and his physique was majestic. It was like he was sculpted my the gods made to look like the male version of Aphrodite(a Greek goddess). This moment I realized I had fallen. “No..no it’s it’s f..fine”, I said stuttering and trying to gulp the last thing I had in me. “Are you sure he asked”, changing his warm smile into a smirk. “Can I have two other drinks of this flavor?”, he said turning to the attendant. “Here you go.” He handed me one and smiled saying a mid-sentence before getting interrupted. “I am..” “Greyson we gotta go we don’t wanna miss it”, a familiar hot dude said pulling handsome Greyson away leaving me in hopes that we would meet again.
