The moment we enter school, my day is ruined.
Olivia's car is parked next to Jeremy's parking slot. She is leaning on the car with her five, pixie friends. The moment they see us drive into the school, they stand straight and uniformly fold their arms across their chests like they are ready for a confrontation. I can't stop myself from swallowing hard and Jeremy notices.
“Why are you always scared of Olivia? It's not like she can do anything to you.” He snorts, sounding displeased.
“Who is scared of her?” feeling pricked, I quickly deny it.
“Then, why are you always quiet in front of her? You are always yelling my head off, but you just let her talk to you rudely.”
