News sure goes round fast in this place. By the time I get to the clinic, the nurse knows what happened at the canteen.
“How are you feeling?” She asks me pitifully.
“My head aches. I need painkillers, please.”
“If you want to go home, I can also write you a note.” She offers as she serves me the pills with a bottle of water.
“Really?”
“Really.” She nods with a gentle smile.
