I can't count how many times I've sighed deeply while sitting in front of my laptop. My eyes are glued to the screen but my mind is elsewhere, with Uncle Lux. He hasn't spoken to me since Auntie Yna's birthday, three days ago. He hasn't been coming home either. Maybe he slept in his own house to. Obviously, he's avoiding me.
I know he's upset with me because I didn't keep my promise to him to reject Auntie Yna's idea of me marrying Alfie.
