I went to Jianci's work station but she wasn't there.
"Have you seen Jianci?" I asked Andrea, who Jianci often talks to.
Andrea quickly shook her head at me. "I thought she went to your office, Boss. She had files to give you and she hasn't come back yet."
I didn't answer Andrea and immediately left and headed to the CCTV control room. I don't know why but I suddenly felt nervous. Not only because I knew I had hurt her and she had injured her foot because of me but I felt a different kind of anxiety. I felt like her life was in danger.
