The Unbreakable Will

Mr David, the son of a billionaire, Mr Tate. Was a philanthropist, a person who sought to promote the welfare of others. He likes helping others but has a problem. A problem of being cold-hearted. Due to his personality, he always finds it difficult to keep any woman he comes across. Mr Tate was in his 70’s. He is expecting his child, Mr David, to bring a wife home. Due to the type of person his son is, he always finds it difficult to keep women for a longer time and was unable to get married to one. On Saturday evening, Mr David told his father to allow him to take over his companies since he was gotten old and couldn't serve as a CEO because he was aged. Unexpectedly, Mr. Tate declined his request and gave him a condition to meet if he wanted access to what he said. And his father stated,” You have to get married first”. His father wanted him to marry because he wanted to have grandchildren before he died. Mr David doesn't have a passion for marriage at that time because of the rejection he has faced at the hands of the opposite genders. He wanted to take his time but his father couldn't wait. Eventually, when his father died, he was in a dilemma, he had no idea of what to do. He later went to his father's lawyer and discussed the issues of taking over his father's companies, since he was the only one his father gave birth to. Surprisingly, when his father's lawyer brought out all the documents' properties, it was clearly stated in the will by his father that, “ you can't have access to these properties until you get married”. Mr David has no choice but to go against his will to marry, since he wants the properties badly anyway. He thought it through so many times and decided to marry. He put an ad on the radio, in magazines, and on social media. It was difficult for him to find someone who could tolerate and accept his cold-hearted behavior for who he was. It was on Monday morning when his phone rang before the advent of going to work. “Hello, who is this?”. Mr David asked. He was surprised by the response he heard, it was a woman's voice. “ I am Amelia, good morning”, she responded. “ How may I help you”, asked Mr David. Amelia responded with a cool and gentle tone when she perceived she was being spoken to, by a harsh tone. Mr David didn't know who was calling and was surprised about how she had access to his number. Amelia said, “With a gentle tone, I saw an ad in the newspaper about the means of you getting a partner, I would like us to meet”. Mr. David was surprised by the courage Amelia portrayed on the phone call which turned him on, even though came across the person he was engaging in a conversation with. Mr David gave her the location and time of linking up, and he hung up the phone. Still pondering about what just happened and later went to work. On the scheduled day, both genders meet and have a nice time. David: hello damsel, how are you doing Amelia: I am good, nice to meet you. They engaged in a conversation for a while. Mr David who was marrying for personal gain proposed to Amelia stating he wanted her to marry him. Amelia paused for a while and told him to give her some time to think about it. Since this is one of the biggest decisions she will have to make in her life. She later gives in to marry him. Mr David was excited because he thought his dream of having access to his father's company was finally coming to reality. They were wedded officially in Court and had to sign an oath for their future, which they did during the court wedding. On the wedding night, Amelia wanted her husband to man her, but Mr David was not in compliance with it. “Why are you doing this?”Amelia said. “What” ??...said her husband. “Do you love me at all ?..what is the purpose of our marriage if you can't make me feel loved at the moment”, Amelia exclaimed. Her husband, Mr David can't help to leave Amelia for the sitting room where he turns on the Television. Amelia was disappointed because she didn't see the move coming and expecexpectedrom her spouse. Mr David on the other hand was excited because of the assets he was about to acquire. After her wedding, he went to her father's lawyer to sign the companies' documentary lists. After he had access to the companies as his, he was joyous the night he went home since his mission was accomplished. He wasn't on good terms with her wife, Amelia, Because he married her for personal gain, not because he had loved her since his wedding. He was always cold to her, she didn't even feel his affection for seconds. Amelia's love language is quality time, her husband finds it difficult to spend quality time with her which makes her feel lonely in her marriage. Amelia was heartbroken, she didn't expect this to happen, she thought she had found love but it was all deception. She couldn't file a divorce or leave him because she loves him and as well she was enjoying her husband’s wealth, but she thinks she deserves more than that. She regretted and felt sorry for herself and wondered why she gave in to marry him in the first place. After a while, she cleaned her eyes after weeping and had to let it be but hoping her husband would look at her one day, she said. “ If loving him is not a mistake, I will be patient and wait till the day he will come back to my side”, she added. This continued. Mr David was now in control of his father's company, he barely thought of his wife. One day, Amelia engages Mr Andrew, one of his husband's uncles in a conversation via phone call, talking to him about how her marriage experience was, with her husband. After Amelia ended her conversation, he calmed her down knowing she must have been heartbroken. Mr Andrew promised to talk to her husband to correct his wrongdoing. On Monday evening Mr. Andrew decided to call his nephew, Mr.David. When he did, they exchanged pleasantries, and without beating around the bush, Mr. Andrew went straight to the point and decided to ask him about his love life. Mr Andrew: “how is your family doing” Mr David: “well, striving for better”. Mr. Andrew: “what's happening between your wife and you these days, hope everything is okay?..” Mr David: “Yes, we are fine”. Mr David's ultimate goal is to end the conversation in the shortest time possible because he wasn't in, in the conversation when it comes to his relationship with her wife. Mr. Andrew on the other hand, was curious about what was happening between them so that a solution could be provided between both. When Mr Andrew knew he was about to halt the conversation. He asked him a question that did look captivating. Mr. Andrew: “looks like you don't find my conversation comfortable about your love life” Mr David: “no, not because of that. I just don't want you to be bothered and that's all”. Mr Andrew knew Mr David was defensive about the conversation and decided to visit him. After some time, Mr Andrew pays him a visit in incognito. When Mr David returned home from one of his companies he was shocked to see his uncle visiting him without prior notice and couldn't believe it.
