CAROL
It was always fun messing with this girl's head.
Now she is going to be underground for quite some time before the lecturer or anybody gets here.
“Won't she die?” A girl asked.
“Shut your f**king mouth do you think if she was to die she wouldn't have been dead a long time ago?” Jane, my best friend, fired at the girl.
Just then Daisy came running over with a bunch of teachers.
“Oh come the f**k on, what does this girl want again?” Jane asked disappointedly.
“Don't worry Jane there is always a next time, let go guys!” I said and we all ran away.
DAISY
Seeing the losers running away a gut feeling tells me to chase them but saving Naomi would be better.
I rushed over to the hipped sand and with the help of the teachers we brought Naomi out.
She was covered with mud as she cried uncontrollably.
My heart hardened as I looked at her, she is so fragile and I can't even protect her.
Guilt pierced into my heart like a sharp needle.
“Let's take her to the clinic,” one of the teachers said and a male teacher grabbed her and took her away.
I stood up and watched them carry my friend away.
Previous memories of an hour ago when we were in class came into my head.
Her sweet innocent smile and all replayed.
I tightened my fist to the extent that I felt blood on my hand.
“Do you know who did that?” The same teacher asked.
I faced her and saw she had an expression that was similar to mine.
“Yes,” I answered.
“Have your friend bring her parents to college tomorrow,” the teacher said and walked away.
That is something I know Naomi will never do, she prefers to go through all the hell Carol throws at her than tell her parents.
I have to find out why.
NAOMI
I stressed my eyes open by force and my blurred vision fell on my best friend.
“Daisy,” I called and she came closer to my side.
She grabbed my hand and stared deeply at me with so much emotion in her eyes.
My vision became clear as well as my mind, and the reality of what had occurred earlier came Running back into my head.
“I am sorry I didn't wait for you?” I apologized.
“Well sober up quickly ya hear me, how do you feel?” She asked, tightening her grip on my head.
“I am good, Daisy?” I called her, she stared into my eyes.
“Yeah?” She answered.
“Can we keep what happened to ourselves?” I asked, still holding eye contact.
“Really? You almost died Mimi and you still wanna keep it a secret like you normally do?” I could see the pain in her eyes.
Keeping it a secret is the best way possible.
I pushed myself up to sit on the bed, still holding her hand. I used it as a guard to get up.
“Where are you going?” She asked me as she also got up.
“I need to meet with Luis,” I dragged, finally letting go of her hand.
“You are not well, the nurse said you should rest,” Daisy muttered.
I understand her concern, but if I didn't see Luis today I don't know when else he will be free again.
“I have to see him, Daisy,” I said silently pleading with her to let me go.

I stared at the blocks as they all stared back at me.
The emptiness of the college filled my inside with emptiness too.
I looked at my phone and all the missed calls I had given Luis stared back at me.
Why can't he just answer or call me back?
Why leave me in a dual all by myself?
Daisy could have been here with me if I hadn't forced her to go home.
Maybe because a part of me knows Luis won't show up.
I signed in defeat and headed for the gate which was still a long way from where I was.
I paused at a location and looked at it,
For a moment I wished Daisy didn't get there in time.
The way I felt under there was nothing compared to the way I feel up here which is good.

A loud noise of dogs barking jerked me up from my sleep.
I switched the lamp on and sat on my bed scratching my eyes.
“Nooooo please!” I heard an agonizing voice.
That was the voice of my father, I had never heard him sound like that before, it felt kind of… good.
Curiosity aroused in me as I got up from my bed and walked slowly to the door. But then fear gulped me down as I stared at the knob contemplating.
“Please give me more time, I swear I will meet up,” my father's voice came again.
The level of curiosity beats down the level of fear in me, I held the knob and twisted it open.
Slowly I moved out to the hallway and walked sneakingly into the living room.
My eyes widened when I saw my father on his knees, a huge man stood beside him with a gun pointed at my father.
My mother stayed away huddling herself in fear and terror.
An unfamiliar, imposing man stood in front of him. The man dressed in a tailored suit, radiating menace and power.
Even as he was backing me I could tell who he was.
He is Fury Nights, a feared Mafia lord known around for his ruthlessness.
His presence in my house makes everything strange as fear and tension flow around.
But why is he here?
What is the popular, brutal man doing in a place like this?
Unless my father has done what he is not supposed to do.
I gasped out loudly, knowing that it would sell me out. I quickly covered my mouth with my hands.
But it was too late as the attention was already on me.
My eyes fell on my mum who looked like she had seen a ghost, her expression clarifying that I had gotten myself in trouble.
I picked up my heels and ran into my run. I locked the door and threw the key away.
Panting heavily I rushed to my bed and sat on it huddling myself.
What will happen to me?
I have heard much about what Fury does to girls.
I don't want to be forced and r***d, sweats rushed down my face as I swallowed nothing.
Then I noticed how silent everything had been. My fear began to fade away as I felt peace settling in.
Maybe they left?
Just then a force knocked down my door and the other huge man came with a smirk on.
Now I recognize him, he is Fury's, left-hand man.
Jeffrey Wilson is one of the worst men who enjoys torturing people and also wasting lives at any chance given.
The fact that he was in my room gazing down at me made my heart swell and seized from beating.
“What do we have over here?” He asked in a husky voice that taunted my soul from the inside out.
Run!
My mind ordered me, I got up quickly and ran over to pass him knowing that was the dumbest thing to do.
Without even moving he stretched his hand out and grabbed me.
“Ahhhh!” I screamed as he picked me up and threw me on his shoulder, my vision became blurred as tears and fear mixed with the pain I felt in my stomach as it pressed on his Muscular shoulder.
He began to walk and after some time he stopped and dropped me on the sofa.
“Look Boss, I think Mr debtor has a beautiful daughter,” Jeffrey said with excitement visible in his words.
I knew it was over for me at that moment.
My eyes fell on him, his piercing blue eyes fixed on me like he was trying to know something from just looking at me.
I quickly looked away and traced my mother who was already crying.
My heart aches as I look at her,
I shouldn't have been so curious Ma,
I am sorry.
I closed my eyes and let my tears flow out like a river.
How has everything been hell for myself and my mother from the start?
Like dealing with everything this monstrous man called my father does wasn't enough he went and added more salt to our sores.
“Do you like her sir?” I heard his voice and my eyes opened widely.
I saw my father rushing to me, he held me up and began to drag my clothes with me.
My mother burst and let out a loud cry while I struggled to release my clothes from his harsh grip.
“No….No!” I cried but my father showed no means to stop.
“Let me go!” I shouted and his hard palm met with my cheek.
I fell back on the sofa weakly and gave up on protesting, my father stripped me and left me stark naked in front of all of them.
“You can have her, just please let me go,” he pleaded and Jeffrey laughed wickedly.
“What makes you think this unripe daughter of yours is worth the Four hundred thousand dollars you owe us?” He asked as he scanned me.
I just sat on the sofa looking dumbfounded.
“She is beautiful, and she is already eighteen so you don't have to worry.”
My father tried to convince them.
“Man shut the f**k up,” Jeffrey snapped in anger and pointed the gun at him, “yo boss should I just pull the f**king trigger and end this father f**ker?”
“Please!” My father shouted in fear.
“I will take her,” the most low, compelling voice I have ever heard said.
The tension on my father cleared a little.
“Jeff?” He called.
“Yes Icon,” Jeffrey answered with his head bowed.
“Call Barbara to get the stuff ready for a marriage ceremony,” he said and confusion filled the room.
“Why boss?” Jeffrey asked, looking at his boss in confusion. “Who is getting married?”
“I am getting married to this child,” he replied and my heart froze.
