I could feel the power radiating off of the alpha that stood only a few feet away from me. The silence that surrounded us was tense and I didn't need to look up to tell that all of them were staring at me.
My eyes had been glued to the ground ever since the alpha arrived and I didn't dare look up a at him. A loud and powerful growl was heard causing me to gulp and tighten my hold on the little one in my arms. I took in a shaky breath before shifting my gaze upwards.
