"An alpha is a role model to his pack! He should be somebody that people look up to, he shouldn't be beating on his mate! A man like that doesn't even deserve a mate!" Cayden exclaimed passionately. My heart skipped a beat and I shrank back into my chair. Aiden stirred in my arms and that's what gave me the courage to try to calm Cayden down.
"It's ok, calm down. Your going to wake my baby up." I said motioning to the small child in my arms. Cayden took deep breaths in and out of his nose before he was finally calm enough to speak.
"I'm sorry I just have no tolerance for men that hit women." He stated. I nodded my head and opened my mouth to speak but all that came out was a deep yawn. My eyes started to water and I heard a chuckle come from Cayden.
"Tired?" Cayden questioned. I nodded
