Finally, it was time to seal the deal between our company and that of Alpha Lucas. I was so excited that I didn’t even care about Sylvia’s new silence.
She had become so quiet in an attempt to show me that she was pissed off at me, but that didn’t really bother me. I was finally getting what I had always wanted, and I figured that she was going to come around once everything was settled.
