ARIA’S POV
Before he reluctantly left with the remaining ego in him, Charles gave me a look that indicated that he was upset with me.
“I didn’t embarrass you.” I said with my eyes, but he had already turned and left, moving slowly as though his legs were about to fail him.
I watched until he was almost out of sight before my attention was drawn by Alpha Lucas who cleared his throat a few moments later.
“Don’t worry about him. I am sure he will be fine.” Lucas clearly knew that he had humiliated his son before me, but he didn’t seem bothered about it.
“This is not something I shouldn’t be worried about. I am his guest, he brought me here only for him to be embarrassed on my sake.”
