DAVIS’ POV
I couldn’t imagine that Diana was going to give me such a condition before she could consider forgiving me. I realized that I had walked into a trap, but it didn’t look like I had a choice at that moment.
She had made up her mind to get rid of Luke through me, and I wondered why she wanted him out of the way so badly. The thoughts of their little drama at the hospital got me thinking almost throughout the night until I was able to force myself to sleep.
I woke up the next morning, still about the reason why Luke was thinking that Will was his son. Could it be that he had met Diana before?
I quickly got the thought out of my mind, walking to the room to check on them. I realized that Diana had already left for work and the nanny she hired was with Will.
