Chapter Forty-Five
The next day the girls slept in. They had been up much of the night talking. They had similar personalities and common interests. While there were many things they couldn’t discuss, there were lots of things they could. When they eventually went to bed at 2 am, they could already feel a bond forming between them.
After breakfast, Tasha and Julie were enjoying time in the pool. They’d been sitting in the lounge chairs reading for almost an hour and were now in the water to cool down. It was only 11 am, and it was already 85 degrees, so the pool was filling up.
So far, this forced arrangement was going well, and they were enjoying their time together.
The environment was so relaxing that Tasha almost forgot why she was here.
