Goodbye Washington.
Ceasar lived with his single mother with his two siblings who were Rick, the first born and Sammy, the only girl and also the last born in the family. As a middle child, Ceasar always felt left out of the family which made all his decisions turn wrong and get expelled from Elite High School in Washington with his group of friends. Months passed and Ceasar still hadn't got another school to take him in.
"Ceasar! get down here. We're late", Gabriella said while packing her bags into the car. Ceasar was still dead asleep in his bed. He was still hangover from the night before he had forgotten that he had to travel the following day.At his young age of just 17, he had been kicked out of school on the last day for committing a petty crime. This made his mom decide to move him and his siblings from Washington to Florida.
"Get up! you lazy freak" his annoying sister stormed into his room and pulled his blanket away from him. She always did such things to him just to get him annoy him but this time she really meant it. "We're late, if you had just followed my advice and stayed away from people like Sam, we wouldn't be in thus mess. Because of you I'm leaving my friends behind and might never see my boyfriend again. Thanks a lot, Jerk!" Sammy exclaimed and left the room.
Ceasar was in no mood to talk to anyone. His sister was not the only one leaving something behind, him too had his bestfriend who happened to be a girl leaving in the same area. Everytime he would feel low, all he had to do was go over to her house and she would always cheer him up sometimes with tight hugs. No one understood him like her. He was losing a big part of his life. He got up from his bed, didn't take a shower or brush his teeth or even comb his hair. His bags were already packed in the car and all he had to do was drag himself towards it and fall asleep.
"Hey Ceasar" Valerie, his bestfriend walked through the door all pale as if she spent the night in the freezing cold night. "So you're really leaving, I can't imagine how life here will be like without you. I'll miss you so much. It pains me to think of the wonderful memories you left locked in my heart." Ceasar having a quite personality hugged his bestfriend to comfort her sorrow and jumped in the car without saying a word.
They started their journey, neither Ceasar nor his siblings knew where they were going to stay. Their mom told them it would be a surprise. Somehow, his sister knew deep in her heart that it wasn't going to be a perfect destination like their little sister did.
"We're here," their mom woke them up. They were all still tired from the thirteen hour long journey. Looking outside, their eyes were covered in disbelief and shock, a small sign just outside the car window saying "WELCONE TO SANFORD"
