What Happens in Miami
Hunter
Over the years I have been called many things such as mama’s boy, playboy, workaholic, Ice King, and business tyrant. I’m the CEO of the Decranae Construction at the ripe age of just twenty-three. My father John passed away from a heart attack my senior year of high school. Ever since then I have worked hard to graduate from Notre Dame early with my degree in architecture with a minor in business to be able to run my father’s company and make him proud. I’ve had my fair share of women since I was fifteen, however, I don’t let my personal affairs leak into the tabloids. My focus has been on making this company a Fortune 500 company, a title my father worked hard for until the day he died. Women come and go and no I am not looking for a Mrs either.
Right now I am on my first vacation since I took over the company from the board just over two years ago. I brought along my two best friends Trevor and Atticus. It’s time for the boys to take Miami. I haven’t been this excited for something in a long time. As the CEO I rarely every get to have multiple days to myself to do as I please. I’m not complaining, but as every other human I need a mental break from the world.
A Week Later
The beach is packed full of spring breakers. There are half-naked women everywhere and my boys have been having their fair share of escapades all week. Every girl that comes up to me I have no interest in. Some of them are beautiful, I honestly don’t know what’s wrong with me. I should be going nuts like Trevor and Atticus. A different girl in my bed every night. But my common sense tells me that college girls like to talk and I don’t need unwanted press to shine badly upon my company when we’re so close to achieving our goal.
I lay on the beach in my rented beach chair reading architectural magazines with innovation on my mind. When I look up from my iPad I never expected to see what I saw. A beauty so rare you are taken aback and in awe. I am most definitely staring when Trevor and Atticus block my view. “Are you actually looking at a girl” they book ask simultaneously. The girl playing volleyball with long curly platinum hair has my undivided attention as I push the boys aside to regain my sight line.
“We were playing volleyball with her. Her name is Daisy” Atticus begins as I cut him off. “Dibs”, I say with a devilish grin creeping upon my face. “No fair, you haven’t even met her and I have” Trevor says. Atticus and Trevor then begin arguing about which one of them should have had dibs on her. Trevor and Atticus and now bumping their chest against each other trying to assert dominance like primates. I push the boys apart and tell them to find new women to bed tonight because Daisy is mine. Just as I go to approach her I can’t see her anymore. I search the beach like a parent that has lost their child. She’s nowhere in sight. She’s disappeared.
Daisy
There are lots of toned shirtless guys on the beach today. It’s our last day in Miami for spring break. I haven’t gotten laid in awhile and I have an itch that needs to be scratched. Some of the boys back on campus are good looking but most times their personality doesn’t match their looks. Here there are boys from all over the country that we on vacation from college. Boys that aren’t from Indiana that I don’t have to risk seeing again after a one night stand.
While playing volleyball with my best friend Penelope I see him. The two men we were playing with have left to go back to their friends. I think Penelope found the one named Trevor attractive. She hasn’t stopped staring at him since they came to play with us. The world suddenly stops and I see a man so handsome he must already be married. He is tall and toned, towering over most the people on the beach. I think to myself he cannot be shorter than six foot at least. His eyes are crystal blue and hypnotizing. This handsome stranger also has midnight black hair which I don’t know why but sends shivers down my spine. I finally stop spacing out on the hottie when Penelope is yelling “Earth to Daisy” and waving her arms like a crazy lady.
“I totally saw that Daisy. You were checking him out”, she says with the biggest smile. She continues on about how I never check out men like I just did. She’s getting way too excited about what just happened. It’s almost like she already planning my wedding in her head. Penelope starts to stride towards the handsome stranger and his two friends. When I realize what she is doing I quickly grab ahold of her arm and drag her back to the resort. Penelope is protesting like no other but she sees I mean business and stops fighting me.
A Few Hours Later
“You need to get laid”, Penelope loudly says to me at the bar. Great now people were staring at us. We were both three strawberry daiquiris in and felling the affects of the alcohol. I rarely drink so it was feeling the affects of my drinking coming full speed ahead.
Penelope was continuing making her case for why I should try to find the handsome stranger. Even drunk Penelope couldn’t fight the lawyer inside her. “Lawyer Penelope, I motion you to drop the case, your evidence is all circumstantial”, she stops just when the two men we played volleyball with earlier come up behind us.
“Hello lovely ladies. May we buy you another drink?” Atticus asks.
“Thank you, for your offer but we are plenty drunk” Penelope counters.
Penelope, Atticus, and I believe the other was named Trevor strike up a conversation. I’m spaced out thinking about returning to campus tomorrow along with the homework I didn’t do before we left. Even though I’m not clear minded at the moment I slip away from the conversation and head down to the beach. I sit down on the edge of the shore and shimmy my feet into the wet sand and crashing waves. A sense of calm washes over me. The anxiety in my head gradually begins to fade and peace takes over. I just sit there and enjoy the sounds of the ocean and the moonlight illuminating my pale skin.
My peace is short lived when I hear someone trudging through the sand comping up behind me. I quickly snap my head around to come face to face with the handsome stranger. “What is a beautiful lady doing out her all on her lonesome?” he asks in a gentle yet seductive voice. “I was enjoying the peace and quiet.” This man is beautiful but I do not like my me time being interrupted.
The handsome stranger plops down beside me without invitation. “I could be waiting for my boyfriend to come join me for all you know” I blurt out.
“Be a real shame if a woman as beautiful as you had a boyfriend.”
“Well I don’t have a boyfriend, haven’t been tied down in awhile.”
The last real boyfriend I had was my senior year of high school. Park Pewterschmidt, we were actually high school sweethearts. We had known each other since eighth grade and never separated from each other until college. I thought we were going to be together forever, get married, have kids, and grow old. My heart shattered when I left for Indiana University and he went off to Loyola in Chicago. I unfollowed him on everything and blocked his number and decided to move on with my life. For now my causal hookups will fulfill my s****l needs and I can focus on my future of being an elementary teacher.
“Well I’m Hunter Decranae. What is your name beautiful?” When he says this it makes me blush and entertains my drunk mental state. “Daisy,” I reply. I can hear myself starting to slur a tiny bit.
“Do you have a last name Miss Daisy?”
“I do. However, I’m not telling you. We’re practically strangers. My mom has scared with with plenty of Dateline growing up.” This makes Hunter laugh. His laugh was cute. It was a laugh that made you want to smile, so I did.
For the next few hours Hunter and I sat on the beach talking and listening to the ocean. It was mostly just small talk. No deep conversations. We’re only two years apart in age and he has his own architecture company. From his age I would assume it’s probably a family business.
My drunkenness was making me tired so I was spacing out on the moonlight over the ocean. All of a sudden I felt my head turned to the side by a pair of soft but large hands and lips pressed against mine.
Hunter
I had to kiss her. This woman was absolutely stunning in the moonlight. Irresistible. I hardly knew her but when I kissed her I felt like I’d known her forever almost. It was the strangest feeling. It took me back a bit. I wasn’t prepared for what happened next though. Daisy push me to the side and straddled me bringing my mouth to hers. She tasted delicious, like strawberries. For a drunk girl she seemed to know what she was doing and she waisted no time doing what she wanted.
I quickly made sure there was no one in sight before I let her continue what she was doing. Having a woman take control of you and do what she wanted was hot as f—k. I had never been with a woman who took control of the situation and do as she pleased.
Daisy had done all she wanted to do to me and some. I was in a daze. I had never had s*x that great before. The was truly the best s*x ever. After all was said and done we cleaned up in the ocean, got dressed and made way to the resort. It was well after midnight so the outdoor resort common are was a ghost town. We both walked to the lobby and stopped at the elevators. Each elevator went to a different side of the resort so this is where we would part ways. We both knew that this was just a last night of vacation hookup. As the elevator door dings to go up I get one lay look at her. “Good luck at university, Daisy”. As the doors begin to close she says “Have a good life Hunter.”
The elevator goes up to the top floor and I make my way down the long hallway to my suite. When I open the door Atticus is passed out on the sofa in the living area with the tv switch onto some gaming streamer he likes to watch. As I walk to my bedroom I can hear that Trevor has brought back a guest of his own. I walk to my night bag grab a pear of earplugs and pass out on the king sized bed.
