Chapter 6 Parties and Exes

"So where are we going?" Sarah asked as Daniel drove away from her house

"It's Matthew so you should think somewhere exclusive and expensive" Daniel said

"I've been away from reality for quite a while, I'm not sure I know anywhere expensive and exclusive"

"Fine, we are going to Diamonds" he said and she burst out laughing

"Diamonds? My Diamonds" she asked

"Yes boss"

"Well damn, exclusive and expensive, it sure fits the description"

"And no one knows that it belongs to S.H. yet. Not even Matthew, I figured you would love to have your welcome party at your own establishment"

"And I get to see how it is run. I haven't been here since the renovations were done. I couldn't even attend the grand opening" she said remembering what had taken place that day.

Nineteen months ago

Sarah had completed her duties early in hopes that she would be able to attend the opening of her latest business. She was proud of her new club and though it was tough, she oversaw the entire renovations thanks to Daniel. She knew Diamonds was going to create buzz after it's opening.

"Sarah, Michael is coming home today, you'll make his dinner, Maria and I have to go out" and with that, Rachel had unknowingly made sure that she wouldn't be able to attend. Sarah knew how rare it was to see Michael so she tried to make good use of any opportunity that she got to see him. It was pretty ironical, Sarah had designed her club thinking about Michael. Although she would never tell him, she had birthed Diamond because of him and now she wouldn't be able to attend it's grand opening because of him.

But Sarah waited all night long for Michael who never showed up. Daniel sent her a pissed off message about how Michael attended the opening with none other than Bella by his side

"Hey Sarah, you still with me?" Daniel's voice brought Sarah out of her faraway thoughts

"Yeah, sorry I spaced out for a while" she said and Daniel gave her a smile knowing fully well just what Sarah was thinking about

"Well here we are" he said as he pulled into the club

"Wow, it really does look like a diamond" Sarah said with pride

"Of course it does, it was your vision" Daniel said and she smiled as she looked around, every little detail that she had insisted on added to the beauty of the place

"Let's go in before my phone explodes from Matthew's constant calling" he chuckled and she giggled and followed him in. The club manager knew Daniel as the owner of the club but Daniel had told him not to let anyone know as it was top secret. But Daniel was instead given an all access pass to let him in and out if the club whenever he wanted to.

"Wow, I know this is my creation but I must say that this is spectacular" she said looking around

"Perform your inspection tomorrow boss, today I plan to get you so drunk you'll forget why you got married in the first place" Daniel said and Sarah chuckled lightly as they headed up the stairs. There was a separate entrance for VIPs to use.

"Welcome back!" The whole room screamed as soon as Sarah stepped in and Matthew was in her face and before she knew what as happening, he had carried her and was twirling around with her

"Put me down Michael, you're making me dizzy" she laughed and Matthew finally put her down

"You crazy girl, I've missed you so badly" Matthew said holding her excitedly

"Why, Daniel didn't take care of you?" She teased looking at Daniel

"Oh, please, he was busy setting the records straight as a ladies man but girl, you look hot as f**k right now, I'll totally do you if I were straight" Matthew complimented her

"Yeah and I am straight as f**k" Daniel said smiling and giving Sarah a glass of liquor

"I see we're getting into it straight away" Sarah said referring to the drink

"I told you that you're getting drunk tonight" Daniel said raising his own glass

"Before you get drunk, come meet some people" Matthew said and dragged her away to introduce her to her guests many of which Sarah didn't know but was glad to meet new and friendly faces

"Now to really celebrate you being back to the land of the living, I've taken the liberty to prepare something dangerously exquisite just for you" Matthew said with excitement

"Should I be worried?" Sarah asked half serious half joking but before Daniel could reply, two guys appeared on stage and Sarah's eyes widened when she understood what was happening

"I figured you needed a proper awakening" Matthew winked and Sarah blushed as the guys vegan taking off their clothes and getting into action. Sarah blushed through it all and tried hiding it by continuously drinking.

When the show came to an end, Sarah was positively drunk and was laughing as she watched Matthew try to mimick the male strippers.

One of the servers came into the VIP room and left the door open, a man stood outside and peeped in when he thought he saw someone he recognized

"Isn't that Michael's wife?" He asked no one in particular and quickly snapped a shot and sent it to Michael

Michael was with Bella when his phone screen turned on and he saw that he had a message from his friend which he quickly opened. Michael's eyes scrunched up in confusion when he saw the picture. When he finally read the note attached to it, his eyes widened and then darkened in anger when he recognized Sarah. Bella had also glanced at the picture and recognized Sarah.

"Wow, Sarah does move on fast, well why am I not surprised? She's always been a wild one, I'm surprised she managed to stay married for three years, she's not exactly wife material" Bella deliberately painted Sarah as black as she could but Michael couldn't hear anything beyond the picture he was looking at. He found himself standing up and racing to gather his things. He mumbled a goodbye to Bella, ignoring her questions about where he was going to. He only had one destination in mind and that was wherever Sarah was.

"Where is she?" He asked as soon as his friend picked up his call

"Here at Diamond. Is she really Sarah?" He asked but Michael didn't respond and he simply ended the call and threw his phone carelessly and drove off leaving a seething Bella behind

"So Sarah, you managed to get Michael's attention isn't it? I'll make sure to ruin you before Michael thinks about you any harder than he already does" she swore with clenched fists as she felt her anger wash over her

Michael arrived the club but in record time and met his friend waiting for him outside

"Wow, where's the fire man?"

"Where is she Alex?" Michael asked

"VIP room 1" Alex promptly answered when he saw his friend was in no mood for jokes and Michael swiftly went in. Michael also had something similar to Daniel's all access pass as he was an investor. So no one stopped him from going in and he simply barged into the room. When he entered, all talking stopped and everyone simply stared at him but he paid them no attention and went over to a drunk Sarah

"Let's go Sarah" he said with anger in his voice.
