Farah seems to be at a loss for what to do, sitting and pacing the room at random. She wipes a tear on the corner of her eye with a long finger then looks at the King.
"He is not answering his phone?"
"No," he responds. "But he will come back, I promise you that. Don't fret."
Ruth sits quietly, holding Arianna in her lap, her heart dancing with joy at Sebastian's continued absence. She prays that he doesn't come back soon from wherever he has gone until the engagement is called off. But his father seems to be so determined to see the engagement take place, and he seems to have so much confidence in his son that he fails to accept that Sebastian might not be coming back any time soon.
