The unexpected

Maree was at her yearly check up. She was nervous, she hated the doctors office this time of year she dreaded. She had several things going on and waiting in the doctors office she wasn’t fond of. He mate rejected her after having a beautiful night, 5 weeks ago. She was still emotional over it. He is her best friend. They grew up together she couldn’t believe that Jovanni rejected her. She was still thinking of that night when she heard a knock on the door and the doctor interred with a smile. “Hello Maree, I have some news for you.” She held papers in her hands and when over her lab results. Maree yelled “ pregnant I can’t be!” She bursted in to tears and covered her face with her hands shaking her head. “He doesn’t want me” she mumbled then whipped her face and signed. Her doctor told her the next steps that needed to be take and to follow up with an OBGYN. She nodded and took the paper work walking out. She walked to her car and got in. The whole way home she couldn’t keep hear hand off her stomach. She signed when she got home Jovanni was waiting outside. She smiled softly. She went up to her steps. “Hey you.” He said and patted the see beside him “ we needed to talk” he said. She was shocked did he know? She thought to herself she then sighed and nodded. “What about buttercup?” She laughed a bit cause she knew he hated when she said that. “Well” he said fumbling with papers. “Well I got these the day I rejected you.” He handed them to her and Sighed. She looked down at them and it was a birth certificate with father unknown then a later from a lawyer saying he had a child around one years of age and they would like dna testing she was shocked. She knew he had been around but she thought he was more careful. Her wolf growled. Calm down Ava she said. Ava but he’s out mate how am I suppose to calm down when we have a pup and he has a pup with someone else. She left a hand on hers and she looked over Jovanni looked scared and hurt. She pulled her hand away. “Is..is that why you rejected me.” She stuttered. He nodded then looked down. “ I love you Maree, your my mate. I was just scared you’d reject me. Once you found out I had a pup out there. Well I might have a few. Honestly I wasn’t the smartest about that.” He sigh as he keep looking at his shoes. Maree nodded her head. She stayed quite for a bit then she placed her hand on his”well get through this together” she said and kissed his cheek softly. She was still hurt and she wasn’t ready to tell him that she was pregnant not yet anyways. Jovanni looked at her and smiled softly” you think so ree? I can’t live with out you. Is wish this pup was yours it would be so much easier.” He said Maree nodded she sighed when she heard those words although he had another pup with someone else. She was expecting his at the same time. She felt his had brush against her. Jovanni stared at her admiring her beauty. He couldn’t believe 5 weeks ago he rejected her his best friend he rejected how could she be so calm about what he had just told her. The spent the night under the covers yet the next day when she came to see him. He rejected her because of the papers he got. How could she forgive him, because he couldn’t forgive himself at the moment. He just wanted to kiss her and hold her. He loved her but he was stupid. Before he knew it his wold had taken over and he was pulling her close to him and he gave her a gentle but passionate kiss. He pulled her in to his lap so she was facing him. Maree moaned softy against his lips. she put her arms around his neck, her fingers interlocked with his hair in them. She deeper the kiss then pulled away slowly as she blushed. “ we should stop before everyone arrives” she said as she stood up putting her hand out. “ let’s go inside the pack meeting was about to start” they both walked inside.
