In this way, all the heads of all families will become free landowners and acquire human dignity. But this doesn’t mean that they can do whatever they please with their landholdings. For this concerns not only themselves, but all the many who belong to them, and all who will come after them. The land belongs to the commonwealth and is the property of each individual. The jurisdiction of the Slavic commonwealth — and we still find these in their pure form in Russia, Montenegro, Bulgaria and elsewhere — should enact a law concerning this, that all adult individuals should receive an equal allotment of the land, which after their death would be taken back from them.
