He left her to die in a fire attack.

A year later she comes back for revenge.

-

Amelia was the Luna of the pack, mated to Alpha Raymond, bonded by fate, and mother to their only child. She trusted him with her life.

Then the pack was attacked.

Amelia screamed for help, but no one came. Instead of saving her, Alpha Raymond fled the pack grounds with their daughter, believing Amelia was already dead.

But Amelia survived. She was saved, by a stranger. Her body was broken, her face ruined, and her heart shattered.

Amelia died that night, and a new woman was born, with a new face, a new name, and a single purpose.

Revenge.

A year later, she returns to the pack that abandoned her, only to discover Alpha Raymond is preparing to take a new Luna.

She will do everything in her power to stop that marriage and claim back her child.

Even if it means destroying the Alpha who once swore to love her.

Chapter 1
Alpha Raymond was in a pack meeting when it happened. Ashton, the beta and his second in command had come running in, eyes wide and breaths laboured. “Alpha, the pack is under attack!.” The room erupted into shouts. “What?.!” He sprang to his feet. Amelia. Lily. Those were the only thoughts in his head as he walked out of the meeting. Heading straight to the pack. “How did this happen?.” Raymond asked. “It's the rogues.” Ashton explained, breathing heavily. He struggled to keep up with Raymond's pace as he stormed out of the meeting hall. “They came in all of a sudden, out of nowhere. we don't know how they breached the perimeter, it was all of a sudden.” Raymond didn't respond, he was already running as the alarm blared through the pack grounds. The moment they got outside, they were met with chaos. Wolves ran around, disoriented. He spotted the pack warriors, some already shifted, running towards the perimeter. The night sky was thick with smoke and filled with screams as people ran to safety. The unmistakable smell of burning wood filled his nose. And when he finally saw it, his blood ran cold. The pack house was on fire. Flame engulfed the upper floors, all the windows were cracked and thick black smoke poured out from every opening. He stood frozen as he watched the raging fire devour the building that had stood for generations. “No.” He whispered defeatedly. then he broke into a run. Heading straight to the pack house, praying to goddess that he wasn't too late. When he got there, pack members were rushing out, coughing, some with half burnt clothes and some with minor injury. "Alpha.” One of the warriors called him, relieved that the alpha was here. But that wasn't the case for Raymond. He still couldn't sight his wife and daughter anywhere, he immediately grabbed the warrior that called him. “Where's my wife?, And my daughter?.” He demanded. “I-I don't know Alpha, the fire spreaded too fast, but we're doing everything we can to get everyone out.” Raymond shoved past him. He couldn't just stand there and watch everything burn to the ground, not when Amelia and Lily was still inside. “What about the West wing?. Have you searched there?.” He barked out, voice raising over cracking of the building under fire. “The West wing is completely burned Alpha, I don't think we can get anyone out of there alive.” Another warrior answered. Dread washed over him. He didn't know what to do. “Warriors are still inside Raymond, they're trying thier best to get everyone out.” Ashton assured, but Raymond paid no mind to him. He paid no mind to anything. He was trying to reach out to Amelia through their bond, but he couldn't feel anything. He tried not to think of the worse. Suddenly, a cry pierced through the chaos. “Alpha!, We found Lily!” Raymond spun around just in time to see a warrior running out, cradling Lily in his arms. “Lily.” He breathed. Immediate running towards them. Immediately she saw him, her eyes widened and she screamed. “Daddy!.” He immediately took his daughter into his arms. Lily was shaking and sobbing clutching tightly to his chest. “It's okay baby, I'm here. Daddy's here.” Raymond held his three years old daughter tightly in his arms, saying soothing words to her. “Daddy.” The little girl called out, voice breaking. “Mommy is still inside.” She cried out. He immediately looked at the warrior that brought her out. “Where?.” He demanded. “The east corridor.” The warrior answered. “But Alpha, the fire-” Raymond didn't wait to hear the rest, he immediately handed Lily to another warrior who stood by. Lily clinged to him, crying her little heart out, afraid to get separated from any of her parents again. “Baby, I have to go. I need to go get mommy out okay?.” The girl finally let go of him. “Please bring mommy back.” She pleaded. “I will, I promise.” He promised her. “Take her away from here.” He told the warrior. “Keep her safe.” “Raymond.” Ashton grabbed his arms as he was about to leave. “The fire is out of control. It's too risky.” He reasoned. “I have to go.” Raymond gritted out as he tried to rip his arm off. “Look around!.” Ashton yelled. “There's fire everywhere, there's barely any chance of survival in there. And if you go in right now, there's a slim chance you'll make it back alive. If you die we're nothing Raymond. What's a pack without it's Alpha?” “And what's an Alpha without his Luna?. What's my daughter without her mother?. Let go.” Raymond shot back, finally ripping his hand from Ashton's hold. He turned toward the burning building. Heading straight inside. “Alpha no!.” A warrior yelled after him. “ The floors are collapsing, there's no visibility, there no chance you'll make it out!.” He paid no mind to them and ran inside. The heat hit him instantly, the smoke, thick and dark, stealing the air from his lungs. The smoke burned his eyes and clogged his throat but he pushed forward, forcing his way through the collapsing hallways. When he finally reached the east corridor, he looked around, hoping to catch a sight of his mate. “Amelia!.” he roared, but the raging fire drowned out his voice. “Amelia where are you?.” He called out again. The floor groaned beneath his feet, the fire licked at the walls, devouring everything in it's path. “Raymond?.” It was faint, but he heard it. He heard her. His head snapped in the direction of the fog, and through the blazing fire he managed to find her. She was trapped beneath fallen debris at the far end of the corridor. The flames was closing in around her. Her face was streaked with blood and reminants of smoke. “Raymond.” She screamed again. Terror and relief crashing together as she saw him. He ran towards her, but the ceiling suddenly collapsed. Immediately blocking his path to reach her. “No!.” He shouted, trying to reach her. But everything kept collapsing, forcing him back. At the moment, the heat was becoming unbearable, it almost began to feel as if he was burning. He looked around, trying to find something to do. Anything that could get them out of here. They locked eyes across the chaos. “I'm here!, I'll get you out I promise.” He shouted desperately. But he could feel the hope leave him, he felt defeated. His mind raced, there had to be another way. He suddenly thought of something. A plan he didn't think would work, but he had to try. He met her gaze one last time, heart shattering. The he turned, and ran. He heard her screaming after him, but he had no time to waste. He rushed back outside, coughing violently. His lunged screamed for air as he breathed heavily. “Raymond!.” He looked up at the call of his name and saw Ashton. He was still waiting for him. He looked around and realized the pack grounds was already deserted, everyone had fled to safety. “Ashton, I found her.” He rasped. “She's still far away. But I think I know how to get her out. If we breach the north wall, maybe we can-” He didn't get to finish. The pack house exploded. The sound of explosion pierced through the air, shaking the pack grounds. The blast threw them through the air like rag dolls, slamming them hard to the ground. The impact knocked the breath from Raymond's lungs, pain shooting through his body. He immediately forced himself up, groaning as he got back up to his feet. He looked up in dread at the sight in front of him. “No.” He whispered. The pack house was gone, ruined. He screamed. The raw, broken sound tore through his chest as Ashton dragged him away from the fire, away from the place that would forever be his nightmare. His Luna was gone. Raymond fought against Ashton, rage and sudden grief tearing him apart, but Ashton held strong, dragging him further away before finally releasing him at a safe distance. “Alpha.” He pleaded. “It's over.” Raymond fell to his knees, sorrowful eyes fixed on the flames that consumed his heart. “Amelia….” He called out brokenly. Losing all hope that was left in his body. “Amelia….”
