Chloe and I make our way out of the packhouse and down the big marble steps. This is about as much as I remember seeing yesterday when Jake first brought me here. Even though the packhouse is in the center of the town, I did not pay much attention to anything outside of the car on the way in, and Kara’s extravagant introduction drew my focus away once we had arrived.
“So, as you probably know, this is the packhouse,” Chloe says. “Obviously, Jake, Kyle, Tyler, and I live here, as well as most of the single unmated wolves. The top floor – floor five – is reserved for the Alpha, Beta, and Gamma. The Alpha has the entire left wing, and the Beta and Gamma families share the right.
