Chapter 36 – Bay Point
About an hour later, they had nearly reached the mouth of the bay. They clung to the cliff face, bobbing up and down in the water and trying to recoup their energy.
“That wasn't so bad,” Jerry said between gasps. “Right?”
“Are you serious?” Shariel asked.
“Don't make me hit you, sodbuster,” Irylia said. She clapped a hand to her mouth, and then turned her head and vomited.
Shariel made a face and moved away from her.
Kajora didn't reply, but she frowned at Jerry.
“Sorry,” he said. “Just trying to lighten the mood. You all right, Irylia?”
Her lips were pressed tightly together, and her face had paled a little, but she nodded.
“Good.” He looked up. “All we have to do now is climb.”
