Ben stood looking at the path he had pointed out, half wishing he hadn’t. It looked…well, they couldn’t stay here on the beach. He nodded, half to himself, but then his stomach growled with hunger, so loudly they both heard it.
Gavi grinned. “Maybe we should find food first,” he said.
Ben looked back at the thick jungle. “Will there be food in there?” he asked.
“I have no idea. But out here I can catch fish.”
“With what?” Ben asked.
Gavi was already striding toward the beach. “You’ve never seen me do this?” he called.
