Ika Limampu’t Isa- Confession

“Good morning Princess!” bungad saakin ni Kuya Evans when I opened my door. Kunot noo kong niluwangan ang pag kakabukas ng pinto para makapasok sya. He is holding a paper bag from a famous Cafe.

Dire-diretso syang lumakad papunta ng kitchen para ayusin ang dala nya, antok na sinundan ko sya.

My head is pounding! To think that I didn’t even drink a lot! I’m not really a good drinker.

“I bought us food. I figured that you haven’t had your breakfast yet.” he gave me a bright smile that made me smile too.

I yawned. Ilang oras lang ang tulog ko dahil sa nag video call pa kami ni Paris. He wanted to check me if I was able to go home safe, and if di ako nabuko nila Kuya!

“You’re so early.” I murmured sleepily and Kuya Evans chuckled before he walked towards me and kissed the top of my head.

“It’s already nine Princess, we have a lunch date with all our cousins.” he grinned when he saw my surprised face.

“I don’t think so Kuya! May mga hangover pa yun! Hindi makaka attend ang iba or malelate.” I snorted.

Kuya Evans handed me my Iced Coffee. I sip a bit and boy.. it tasted like heaven. For a while I forgot my pounding head!

I love coffee! I can’t live without it!

“No one has a hangover because of the stunt that you pulled. After we checked on you..we all decided to grab coffee, no one was in the mood to continue drinking.” he teased and I gave him a guilty smile.

I was so lucky last night na naunahan ko sila sa condo. Azalea’s excuse was that I was not feeling well and was so sleepy so I decided to go home alone!

The guys were all in panic when Azalea told them that I went home alone so they decided to check on me. Akala din kasi nila na lasing ako and because I am not a heavy drinker they were worried about my condition!

“I told you, ayoko lang maka abala sainyo, all of you seem to be having fun!” I lied so I had to look away because I feel like he can see through me..I don’t want to get busted!

“Cassiopeia Everleigh.” Kuya always calls me Princess, bihira pa sa bihira kung tawagin nya ako sa buong pangalan ko. So him calling my name is making me feel alert.

“You know that you are more important than anything else. You are my only sister, my baby sister.. I will drop whatever I am doing for you..you will be Kuya’s priority, you and Azalea and Saffron. And I know that all of our guy cousins feel the same way too.” he sighed. “ So please, next time don’t do something like that again..you made all of us worry.” he said in a gentle voice.

I slowly nodded. My eyes are feeling hot already..I am so touched with what he have said, though kahit hindi naman nya sabihin, alam ko na totoo iyon.

“I’m sorry Kuya.” bulong ko.

Now, I’m feeling really guilty. I must tell them the truth later! The more I hide it, the more I feel like I am betraying their trust.

”Eat, if you are really feeling sorry.” naka smirk na sabi nito.

“You owe me one.” bulong ni Azalea saakin matapos namin magbeso at umupo.

Ate Saffron chose to book BLACKBIRD here at Makati. Bukod kasi sa masarap dito as at elegante, ay malapit ito sa Condo nya, she needs to go back to her confo after our lunch dahil yaya lang ang kasama ni Zeke.

“I know, thank you.” I whispered back.

Instead of smiling she rolled her eyes at me that made me laugh. I don’t know what happened to the bubbly Azalea, but time changed her, may pagkamasungit at maldita na ito at times.

“You stressed me out! Akala ko mahuhuli ka! Damay ako pag nangyari yun! Nako Cassie I swear one of these days I’m gonna pull your hair if you keep on making me your accomplice!” mataray nyang sabi, I pursed my lips to stop myself from smiling, I cannot take her seriously kasi aliw na aliw ako sa pag tataray nya.

“May I know what do you find amusing huh?!” she snickered that made me laugh.

“What are you two talking about? Share nyo naman.” Nakangising tanong ni Pheonix.

Instead of answering, Azalea just glared at him and ignored him after, she just busied herself by looking at the menu.

Yckos is sitting in front of ne, nagkasalubong ang tingin namin. I mouthed thank you to him and he just smiled and nodded at me.

Everyone is busy ordering their food while I’m busy thinking how to tell them about Paris.I am sweating cold and my heart started to hammer inside my chest.

But it’s now or never. Pag hindi ko ito ginawa ngayon kelan pa? I am just delaying their reaction!

I closed my eyes and started to count one to ten, when I’m already calm I opened my eyes and exhaled harshly.

Bahala na.

I cleared my throat and took all the courage I can get.

“Guys.,I have something to confess.” I said in a not so loud voice but they heard me.

I caught their attention. Katahimikan ang sumunod na para bang sinasabi na all ears na sila.

One by one tiningnan ko sika, curiosity was obviously on their faces but no one said anything. Hinintay nila kung ano man ang sasabihin ko.

Nagkatinginan kami ni Yckos, tinanguan nya ako na oara bang ine-encourage ako.

“What is it Princess?” basag sa katahimikan ni Kuya, maybe hindi na sya nakatiis sa pag hihintay saakin.

“Uhmnnn..” I swallowed hard. “ I am seeing someone..” There I said it, but no one said anything so I took the opportunity to continue with what I am saying. “We are not yet together but he is courting me.” sunod sunod kong sabi.

One, two, three..

“Kala ko naman kung ano na!” natatawang sabi ni Kuya Rue.

“D*mn Princess, you got me worried there!” naiiling pero nakangiting sabi ni Kuya.

“Caleigh, it’s normal for you to have a suitor.” naka smirk na sabi naman ni Nix at tinanguan ni Kuya Thyme.

“”I’m glad you are seeing someone already.” nakangiti naman na komento ni Ate Saf.

Napatingin lang ako kay Kuya Yvo, he did not say snything but he is watching me with his hawk eyes. I cannot read his expression..

“Tsss.. I don’t think you guys will still be calm kung malaman nyo kung sinong magaling ang manliligaw kay Cassi!” Sarcastic na sabi ni Azalea.

I wanted to thank Azalea for her bitterness kasi hindi ko alam kung paano susundan ng pangalan ni Paris ang confession ko.

I bit my lower lip when everyone turned to look at me again.

“Who is it Cassopeia?” Finally Kuya Yvo spoke, his face is blank and his voice is cold. Is he nit happy na finally I am seeing someone? Ir is he just worried na baka another heart break ito.

“You should all promise me first, that you guys will stay calm and won’t freak out.” kinakabahan kong sabi.

I saw how Kuya Yvo’s blank face is suddenly replaced with a frown while Kuya Evan sat straight and the twins brows’ furrowed. I noticed how ate Saf raised her left eyebrow and how Reed and Nix suddenly look interested that they put their phones down on the table.

“Who is it Leigh?” Kuya Thyme asked.

I swallowed hard. This is it.

“Si..si.. Paris.” I said in small voice.

“Who?!” Ate Saf asked, her eyes widened.

“Paris Nicolai Alcantara.”

There.. I said it.
